Under cabinet hood or range hood ??

Please guide me what will be best option to put hood remove countertop cabinet or under cabinet hood ??

    It doesn't have to be a choice of one or the other. An externally vented range hood will do the best job of expelling cooking odors and grease, but you can run an externally vented range hood through the cabinets above it. Some are made in that design and are completely hidden by cabinet fronts, some are partially hidden, and others have a stand alone design. But the important issue is whether it is externally vented or not.

      Not sure what exactly you are asking? The picture appears that you have a wood hood already installed with what i would assume is a liner?

      We are moving to this house. Kitchen already remodeled . And I want to put hood to eliminate the smell of food from the house . So looking for ideas what can be best option for hood to remove cabinet & put canopy hood or should go for under cabinet hood ?? I hope u'll help me !!

      Leave the upper cabinets and put a nice looking hood if it fits. If not remove and add a nice metal functioning hood.

      Thank you ! Is under cabinet hood works well to remove the smell of sea food & prawn cooking ?? If yes then which brand ??

      check with quality appliance dealer, for viking, wolf products there are great residential vents that function like a commercial vent/hoods.

      I see there is no hood present in that picture. My suggestion is install a range hood. In our case, our installer made a hole inside the over the range cabinet and run the duct through it. We are pretty happy with Zephyr hoods. They have pretty good customer care.
