need hlp with accent colors

i have redecorated living room and bedrooms with creams, greys, and dark browns. I need an accent color- would teal be a good choice

    I love teal with gray. Another idea is yellow. Even red. Pretty much depends on the mood of the room.

    I have a TV room with teal walls, white trim, grey sectional sofa and grey and yellow pillows. The rug is black and grey. I love it!

    How about a rich deep purple...kind of an eggplant color. Another suggestion would be a garnet/merlot red. It really depends upon the dark brown you've used.

    What color do I gravitate towards when shopping?
