    Both can look great, but we do like wrought iron on Period properties. Especially like the example below. Very English country garden!

      It depends. We wanted total privacy and security so large wooden electric gates.

      Yes, good call. We've created similar in the past. Also a more modern aproach is to have steel powder coated to give it a greater protection and improve its life.

      timber gates' especially hardwood are naturally beautifull when well crafted and can provide privacy unlike wrought iron.

      It depends on the span of the opening but timber frame gates look great if produced to a high standard.

      Wrought iron gates look lovely and smart however if you require more privacy, a nice, modern wooden fence can look just as good and does the job!
