Is white oak a trend that's soon to go out of style? I love them just don't know if it will scream early 2020s in a few years

Any oak floor (re or white) is pretty much a classic hardwood floor and will not really ever be going out of style. Remember a quality oak floor can always be refinished to change the color if your home style changes.

Since when have oak floors been a trend? They have been using oak for floors for eons.

I assume you are wondering about the lighter stain trend vs white oak. If concerned about longevity the lighter (and lovely) look will have a lifespan, as has every other shade over time.

Perhaps consider a mid range stain with the right undertone/what works best with the style of your home and furnishings.

Un parquet clair illumine et agrandit la pièce. Un chêne blanc confère authenticité et charme à une pièce. Ce n'est pas u tout démodé car la tendance est aux matières naturelles : lin, céramique, pierre...

Hi all! Personally, I don't think that oak will ever go out of style because I consider it a classic flooring. Plus, when choosing the flooring type, I don't really think about whether it is modern now or whether it will ever go out of style, but I choose it according to my personal taste, I want it to be of highest quality and to fit my space/home. So, all in all, this is my suggestion 😁

If we are speaking about REAL oak flooring….no. Wood can be refinished and re stained. If we are talking about vinyl, no…. Engineered flooring that can’t be sanded or re stained, no. Real wood is timeless. More expensive? Yes.
