Great fireplace.Is the fireplace a Rumford fireplace? Who built it?

      This is a great looking fireplace and the angled walls will help to radiate heat out towards the sitting area but it is not a Rumford.

      "Rumford fireplaces are tall and shallow to reflect more heat, and they have streamlined throats to eliminate turbulence and carry away the smoke with little loss of heated room air."

      If the height of the firebox is equal to its width it is likely a rumford.
