Piper's Ideas
Master bath sink cabinets - don't like the open towel shelves, but do like the simplicity of cabinet fronts and handles. Also the tower upper cabinets, though they are a bit small. I would like one tower cabinet at the right end of the Master bath sink cabinets... regular size to accommodate towels and/or medicines.
Scottsdale master Bath Remodel - again, like the color of cabinets. Think I would make the walls the soft "sea sky blue" as in another designer's beach bathroom. This ceiling is much higher than ours, but would like to see if it's possible to install a window on the Master Bath back wall that backs on the Living Room patio that you could open for cross ventilation. Not sure I like the cabinet tower in the middle of the cabinets and definitely don't need the wasted stool/dressing table.
Master Bath sinks need to be "under mount". Kinda like the light warm wood cabinets and the counter top bringing back in the mushroom color. I want an upper cabinet, sink to ceiling, at the North-West corner of the Master Bath (linen). Believe the cabinet could be from where it is today at left end all the way to the right/North wall and increase the storage area. not sure if a second tower on left end of counter would be too much. Need a little room (at left end of counter top) for scale to sit.
Large open pantry area (don't need drawers), in the addition area, needs to accommodate water-cooler, sweeper, and a large area of open shelves for food stuffs. Not sure if wine rack should be in pantry or in dining room side of the kitchen island on the wall that's remaining from the remodel. See remodeled neighbor's house.
Kiinda like the blue tile for one wall. Would prefer a light "green glass" colored tile.
Like the light taupe color of the walls... Not so sure about the dark end wall.
No, No, No... hate the wasted space of open shelves, and high upper cabinets and cabinets that float on the wall and waste space above. Also upper cabinets are too high for us shorties. this grey color is a flat grey. I prefer the mushroom color, which incorporates some brown into the color.
Oven in the lower island area frees up other areas at sight height for cupboards.
Cabinets need to go to the ceiling. Prefer the island area painted the Mushroom (taupe/grey) color.
Mushroom color for lower cabinets add a bit of color, but don't over darken the kitchen.
