Basement ceiling idea. Room is nice and bright. Would plan for ceilings to be higher if we like this multilevel look. Do not like the light fixtures....should be puck lights instead.

Not for us. Too much. I don't think the barrel ceiling does that much. Would rather have a higher normal ceiling.

I like the details on the horizontal beams. I don't like the aged ceiling surface or the scroll-like ends of the horizontal beams.
