the island different from the cabinets is interesting idea - especially considering I am worrying about how the island will look when people it at the bar and their feet hit the island

I think the color is good with the stainless steel and with the granite options we have. I also like the glass accent in the cabinet doors. the use of a different color on the bottom and top cabinets is interesting but could be tricky to pull off
