no sheet rock or drywall but add depth with stone cladding all the wall to ceiling. Does this cut up/break up the wall expanse and architectural lines too much? James, I actually really like this and like it better then doing the stacking stone, It is just way more modern and this wasy you dont need the huge hearth which I did not like. Keep in mind that your does not have a rectangular box so it will look different. This looks like some kind of limestone tile. It is not a slab although from farway it looks like it.

this silk wall paper is beautifully subtle but still impactful and not boring I think we can find something similar
i want my dining doom to glow like this The glow is part of the photography , it is amazing what photoshop can do that said there is light in the dome and that helps
ceiling This may be Venetian plaster , it is shinny and reflects light
wrong colors but this example also is to even, not random or natural enough as it would be in nature. In my opinion it is less elegant and beautiful because it is more contrived I don't care for this paper , not just because of color but it is too busy
this is a great understated take on the ginkgo leaf wall covering. elegant This is probably a faux painting not wall paper. Jamey can do this , she actually did for one of my clients
great feature wall
really like the richness and the glow this dome gives off.
could see something similar on the ceiling in the powder room to create the jewel box effect. Phillip Jefferies has an amazing collection of wall coverings!
larger scale ginkgo leaf I think this may be painted
like the treatment on the dinning dome
like this ginkgo leaf wall paper. just wrong colors
sculptural and architectural quality to this grass cloth/linen
this grass cloth looks more refined
like idea of silver or golf leaf for dinning room dome
like the sculptural/architectural impact of this wall treatment
the texture of the recessed area
this could work for dinning dome
this grass cloth looks to have been applied in square panels
I like the texture of this grass cloth.
don't like the stark contrast between marble on the fireplace surround and the wood mantle. I do like the symmetry with cabinets below and open bookcase/storage above on either side of fireplace however
like the stone work carried up from floor to ceiling and closed cabinet storage below with open shelving above.
I think this is cast concrete but it may also be done in stone Like the same material carried to ceiling with change in relief/depth from mantle. Like the raised front facing portion of fireplace below the hearth. Gives it some dimension and prominence
tile/stone carried up to ceiling and again balance with cabinets and open storage left and right
chairs and console table
like the idea of console with ottomans in the entry
moulding to create some recess. Seeking illusion of greater recessed ceiling in bedroom
looking for a simple and elegant rug pattern similar to this for bedroom. like the recesses ceiling.
thought about this kind of floor to ceiling bookcase/storage/display
rough cut/chiseled limestone
