The grey bench top seems to work here... Maybe because its a darker grey
This is dominantly white - but still appears warm and inviting - which is mainly driven by the lighting covers i think.
Plain white bench and glossy cabinets make this looks too clinical. Good example of dark floors with white bench, splashback and cabinets though.
Dark slate floors like ours. White bench. White cabinetry. But splashback is a little too busy. Wonder what this would look like with subway style, white splashback!?
Slightly darker bench top Same material for splash back Cream floors All works quite nicely - has a warm homely feel.
This seems to work - why? Is it the simple, warm colored feature lighting? The dark floors offseting the white bench, cabinetry and splashback
Slightly off-white little bit of grey in benchtop makes a difference here...as does the marble style splashback
This white splashback on white benchtop and white cabinetry is just all a bit too much...it needs some grey in there somewhere
Waaay to white...
The dark floors and the feature color at teh back balance out this predominantly white kitchen
An example of going too white I feel...the gloss doesn't look great either
See the greyish but still white benchtop with white cabinetry
Example of the leather bed. Kind of tasteful but not sure about it...
Amazing the difference the lighting makes Great cupboard, floor, tops color combo
Same kitchen as in other shots just from different angle and at daytime
Nice pendant lights...adds warmth It's got the longer handles on the wider drawers
Again...perhaps too white? Clinical? I hope that with grey wood floors, we wouldn't have this issue
This is about the color of flooring I was thinking but...without the dark wood panelling...would this kitchen end up being too bright?
This darker wood actually feels ok here. Maybe is because of the wooden table...?
This kitchen is just way too white/light Don't want this effect... This could be driven by lights under the skirting boards and lighter floor color
The grey floors work here. Note the roller blind on the window. Overall looks a bit clinical though. I think (grey) wood grain floors and texture splash back would help...
Think consistent handles would have been better here. Also further demonstrates that the dark wood floors clash with white kitchens
White bench tops and cupboards with the light grey flooring...looks very modern
I think there bench tops are similar to what Jane was recommending
I think the marble look is the way to go with white cabinets and white splash back. This shows how much difference handles can make. Think I'd like this more with the long silver handles
Stained floors with white tops and cupboards
Example of white cupboards, dark benches and dark flooring
White bench tops on white cupboards. Notice how the down lights really bring it to life
Notice how the color of the bench tops, whilst matching the floor, doesn't really flow. Think white bench tops would have looked better
Innovative use of space
An idea on what the stained wood against white look is like..
Maybe a wood grain would be ok - with smaller bed head though
See the greyish floor with the white cupboards (dark bench top though)
