Some cool lighting ideas
Don't really like anything about this 2-story breezeway, but a little closer to what I have in mind
So much stone the house almost looks diseased but like the windows at left, the porch above, the den protruding at right
Like the contrast, windows, non-white kitchen; not the paneling on the center island or the ceiling
Could consider jacuzzi/hot tub in part of house typical for that instead of master bath, kind of inside/outside potential like this
If I actually had that view in a private direction, this would be great (Okay, just said I don't need this but would work in master bath if it's facing the south/southeast--opposite of what the main room should face (west-southwest)
Think I saved another version of this idea earlier, but in addition to the windows like the continuity of the ceiling inside and outside
Separation from wall of windows without blocking them
Cool way of taking in the sun during the day and the fireplace presumably at night in the same space
Not looking for this grand old style, but a den (desk instead of piano) that can be this open off a main room could be good, maybe with a way to close it off without making the main room cramped and/or dark
A little room off the stairs might work (could be more shaped and maybe smaller than this if need be)
There is a modern coziness to this that I like
Cute central patio upstairs, recessed a little for a roof--may not be practical (and may have to be screened in) but for a porch outside the landing area...
Captures the setting; a little plainer exterior than I'm picturing--maybe just for color/lighting

Only to help me picture a version of the relationship of other elements (e.g., this kitchen) to the cool staircases in the preceding photos. Don't like the kitchen at all.
Something about having all the workspace away from the wall is cool.

Just caught by use of levels, halfwalls, entry, stairs, ceiling heights to define spaces all in one photo. Not looking for anything this medievally formal for the other elements though
Like the row of windows over the covered porch to let light in to the downstairs. Like the loft too.
The railing across the loft is on the acceptable side of industrial (and better than the one in the preceding picture), and I haven't explored the loft idea enough yet. Floor and counter are way too froufrou for me

Like the aesthetic (indoor and outdoor) here quite a bit. Right kind of modern without being too industrial.

Like this ceiling, entry doors, floor, edges of walls, lighting, presumably entry to closet or bath at left by the door--more windows though Could this be the ceiling of the master bedroom dormer porch?
I keep saying "not too big", and I mean it, but what a cool take on master bedroom
Cute, maybe a tad small for master bedroom but while mustn't feel crowded with a king bed, want it just big enough to sleep, dress, and get out. (Trip to the shower in between of course.) A connection to outside is nice (don't need 2 doors though). Big fan of ceiling fans too.
Placement/relationship of shower and bath and window works for me; great version of shower as well--would go with simpler concrete wall/floor/ceiling, but like the flat high round showerhead hanging from the middle of the ceiling, separate handheld head, built in shelves (as long as they can be cleaned easily--maybe better if they stuck out) and bench
Either this is highly misleading or insulation is possible even with windows

Like the chimney (easy to picture a 3-side-open fireplace beneath it) but that's it. Too rustic and don't like the approach.
Wrong color/style of house, but nice approach (as long as the extension to the right completes a circle) and right components
Maybe we don't need a foyer if space and transitions can be managed some other way. Don't necessarily want to lose the opportunity for some cool angles though
Maybe this is somewhere in the ballpark of indoor/outdoor fireplace (chimney flanked by doors with patio)
Wonderful space, like the staircase (but would straighten out the balusters), closer to right degree of modern and shy of industrial, railing is maybe a tad close to seventies/Brady Bunch
Similar to the other staircase I admired and with great windows and cool balusters and steps, like the railing, wood contrast with walls--great version of staircase but think I like the open risers of the other more
Has the outline of the foyer; not sure I like anything but the chest
