For discerning (think nervous) consumers like my wife & I tend to be, selecting the right company for a project of this scope can be a hand-wringing experience. Fortunately, beginning with Bruce (owner, master excavator & visionary), and followed closely by Kelly (project coordinator & wearer-of-all-hats), Bernie (start-up wizard & construction supervisor) and the rest of their associates, these folks really have their act together.
The seamless, successful completion of a major pool installation is really a hierarchy of interdependent decisions & processes , any one of which, if delayed or poorly executed in any way, can cause a cascading, domino-effect of negative repercussions, delays and regrets.
Atlantis and their subs have their successful formula down to a science. (1) excavation, (2) trench-work/lines for plumbing, electrical & equipment placement, (3) steel (rebar) framework, (4) shotcrete, (5) tile & coping, (6) electrical/gas line connection, (7) decking, (8) pool plaster, (9) final grading for landscape: this complete list of tasks (quoted conservatively at 12-13 weeks), was essentially finished in less than 9 weeks, and except for the fumbling incompetence of Atlanta Gas Light in completing their ONLY task in this whole process (the natural gas line/meter upgrade for the heater which delayed the landscaping), we would've been turnkey within 10 weeks . Best of all, the pool turned out simply amazing, and we couldn't be happier!
Thanks again to Bruce, Kelly and the whole crew for a job well-done.
