Caversham Rear Garden
The client wanted a low maintenance garden to replace the poor draining lawn. With the existing lawn removed, land drains were installed and timber gravel boards fitted along the fence. Four raised planting beds were constructed with paths created between them and around the boundary. The existing patio was extended to allow for furniture before the paths were dressed with Cotswold gravel. The beds were planted with a mixture of new and existing plants, introducing herbs and wild flowers. Weed suppressing membrane was installed and bark mulch used to dress the beds to complete the look.
