Contemporary Show Home Style Kitchen & Living in Hertfordshire
This contemporary kitchen and living project in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire was designed to impress with its open-plan layout and modern design. It gives off a show home vibe through and through—inspiring envy in any buyer.
The kitchen features Nobilia handleless cabinets in Fjord Blue paired with white quartz worksurfaces by Algarve. The sleek lines and minimalistic approach create a stylish and functional space.
The L-shaped layout is centered around an island, and it's open to the dining area with seamless flow and ease of use. Of course, this kitchen will not be complete without the appliances from Siemens, Bora, and Quooker.
The sophisticated colour scheme of white and blue is offset by incorporating organic materials as accents, further bringing the outside in. We installed bamboo pendant lights above the island and wood wall panelling in the dining area.
This dining area is designed to be bright and airy, with plenty of natural light from the glass door that opens to the garden. The oval wood dining table for six adds an extra layer of organic texture to the space, while the off-white seats bring a fresh, clean feel.
The modern show home style continues onto the living area—which also utilises the same colour scheme and design elements as the kitchen and dining areas. The shelves are also in fjord blue and white, and the wall panelling behind the television also features wooden slats.
The use of ample natural and artificial light, complemented by neutral tones, creates an airy and spacious feel throughout the house. The greenery adds a touch of luxury, making the space feel like it's straight out of a magazine.
