DIY Kitchen Reno
a true labor of love with this 1950's bungalow. It took us 3 months from start to finish to complete. We purchased a wardrobe for our pantry to allow to get rid of the upper cabinets and install floating shelves in their place. The floor is probably the project we are most proud of. A 70+ gentleman who ran a small lumber mill here on Vancouver Island, custom milled wide plank fir floor for us. My husband and I installed, as well as finished it. Not the easiest, nor the funniest project we've ever done, but the finished result was more than we hoped for! photo credit: Rose Sarich
