Jewel Box Powder Room
Using an old Antique original marble nite stand for a vanity and dropping a copper sink in to be used for a very small powder room. Notice the hardware with the linen towel on the side. I found a nice sturdy pull that was said to be off of a coffin. The soap dish is an antique lantern holder that I placed an antique dish in for soap! This room was so fun to work on and quite a challenge since it was very small so I had to make use of every space. The walls I wanted to make a pattern that I repeated in the fabrics used so I got the artist to put on a gesso and a raised pattern to coordinate with my design. The wall mounted fixtures were original to the house so I used them in the powder room to accent the antique mirror. Accent small original oil paintings to bring charm to complete the room.The room turned out like the jewel it is.
