Hamptons House
For this renovation project we transformed a 1970’s brick house into an expansive, luxurious Hamptons style beach house. The original house, which had undergone several renovations in its lifetime, was perched on the sand dune overlooking the beach with an existing double garage facing the street.
We updated the façade and the interiors of the original house and extended the western side of the house, towards the street. The interiors were all updated, and we created an open-plan living area with a new Hamptons style kitchen positioned to face the beach, while large expanses of glass capture the view from every angle.
On the exterior we updated the entertaining area with access from the kitchen, providing a protected outdoor area for entertaining. Materials for this beachfront home were carefully selected to ensure they blended with the natural surroundings while able to withstand the marine environment with minimal maintenance required.
