The original layout of this bathroom underutilized the spacious floor plan and had an entryway out into the living room as well as a poorly placed entry between the toilet and the shower into the master suite. The new floor plan offered more privacy for the water closet and cozier area for the round tub. A more spacious shower was created by shrinking the floor plan - by bringing the wall of the former living room entry into the bathroom it created a deeper shower space and the additional depth behind the wall offered deep towel storage. A living plant wall thrives and enjoys the humidity each time the shower is used. An oak wood wall gives a natural ambiance for a relaxing, nature inspired bathroom experience.

Plain & PoshThe homeowners wanted to improve the layout and function of their tired 1980’s bathrooms. The master bath had a huge sunken tub that took up half the floor space and the shower was tiny and in small room with the toilet. We created a new toilet room and moved the shower to allow it to grow in size. This new space is far more in tune with the client’s needs. The kid’s bath was a large space. It only needed to be updated to today’s look and to flow with the rest of the house. The powder room was small, adding the pedestal sink opened it up and the wallpaper and ship lap added the character that it needed
Lang's Kitchen & BathThis serene master bathroom design forms part of a master suite that is sure to make every day brighter. The large master bathroom includes a separate toilet compartment with a Toto toilet for added privacy, and is connected to the bedroom and the walk-in closet, all via pocket doors. The main part of the bathroom includes a luxurious freestanding Victoria + Albert bathtub situated near a large window with a Riobel chrome floor mounted tub spout. It also has a one-of-a-kind open shower with a cultured marble gray shower base, 12 x 24 polished Venatino wall tile with 1" chrome Schluter Systems strips used as a unique decorative accent. The shower includes a storage niche and shower bench, along with rainfall and handheld showerheads, and a sandblasted glass panel. Next to the shower is an Amba towel warmer. EH Design, Associate ASIDThis lovely Nantucket-style home was craving an update and one that worked well with today's family and lifestyle. The remodel included a full kitchen remodel, a reworking of the back entrance to include the conversion of a tuck-under garage stall into a rec room and full bath, a lower level mudroom equipped with a dog wash and a dumbwaiter to transport heavy groceries to the kitchen, an upper-level mudroom with enclosed lockers, which is off the powder room and laundry room, and finally, a remodel of one of the upper-level bathrooms.
The homeowners wanted to preserve the structure and style of the home which resulted in pulling out the Nantucket inherent bones as well as creating those cozy spaces needed in Minnesota, resulting in the perfect marriage of styles and a remodel that works today's busy family.

Lasley Brahaney Architecture + ConstructionOur Princeton architects designed this spacious shower and made room for a freestanding soaking tub as well in a space which previously featured a built-in jacuzzi bath. The floor and walls of the shower feature La Marca Polished Statuario Nuovo, a porcelain tile with the look and feel of marble. The new vanity is by Greenfield Cabinetry in Benjamin Moore Polaris Blue.
August InteriorsThis project involved 2 bathrooms, one in front of the other. Both needed facelifts and more space. We ended up moving the wall to the right out to give the space (see the before photos!) This is the kids' bathroom, so we amped up the graphics and fun with a bold, but classic, floor tile; a blue vanity; mixed finishes; matte black plumbing fixtures; and pops of red and yellow.
Tate EnterprisesGuest Bathroom - This Guest bathroom offers a tub/shower and large vanity in one room and across the hall is a powder room with a small vanity and toilet. The large white tile in the tub area are stacked to offer a very clean look. The client wanted a glass door but without the track. We installed a swing door that covers about half the tub area. The vanities have flat door and drawer fronts for a very clean transitional looks that is accented with round brass hardware. The mirror is built-in to a featured tile wall and framed by two alabaster sconces. The dark blue tile floor complements the vanities and the age of the overall home. The powder room features three floating shelves for décor and storage.
