An extensive remodeling project transformed this home from outdated to something truly special. The main focus was to increase the size of the kitchen, creating a space more functional for entertaining, and also to take advantage of the view of the golf course from the back of the home. The areas surrounding the kitchen were re-arranged to create a U-shaped kitchen space. The center of the "U" becomes a focal point with a large (48-inch) Wolf range and built-in wood hood.
Interesting features in this space include niches, created by the architect, between the kitchen and formal dining room. This provides additional space for an undercounter wine cooler and barware storage. Another feature is the built-in hutch which helps to conceal the Sub Zero refrigerator. This also give the impression of a wider kitchen space and provides a display area.
