Aménagement d'une cuisine méditerranéenne.

Old World Influences

This kitchen renovation included an expansion that houses a new eating area, and room to incorporate some additional appliances that the owners wanted to be included. Featuring cabinetry by Royal Cabinet, the cream section is a 1" thick old world door featuring a semi-transparent paint and glaze on cherry. The stained portion is a distressed knotty Alder, with some burled Yew accents in several areas. The counter-tops are Calacutta Gold, and the back splash uses a a combination of the slabs with custom cut tiles. The cabinet to the left of the range conceals a step in pantry with an additional counter space. The range back splash has suspended marble slabs that conceal hidden spice and oil shelving and electrical outlets. The hardware is by Top Knobs. Featuring appliances by Sub-Zero and Wolf, Sharp, Fisher-Paykell, and Miele. The custom Copper hood has blacksmith forged strapping and conceals a Wolf professional liner. The center island top is Black Walnut with an Oil Neutral distress finish. The glass in the cabinetry is Glacier glass by Architectural Glass Effects. Also Featured are sinks by Rohl and Blanco, as well as faucets by Perin and Rowe and Dornbracht. The flooring is a herringbone pattern Brazilian Cherry. Photography by Scott Metzgar
