Slow Flowers September 2019 Inspiration: Sunflower & Rudbeckia Floral Designs
Kirsten Gordon of Bloom Magic Weddings in the Chicago area designed an arrangement she calls "Late Summer Bursting with Orange and Yellow" for an estate client's home. The desing features sunflowers with many companion blooms:

This is a foam-free design with unique mechanics. "I created a "sausage" of chicken wire, placed in the container so that there are 3 layers of holes (top, middle, bottom) to thread flowers and greenery through," she says.
