What started as a kitchen reno, blew up into a full home reno. While my wife and I had some idea of what we wanted. There were times when that vison changed mid way through the project. While I'm sure we caused quite about frustration for mitch, collen and the boys. They NEVER showed it. Always professional, on time and were pin on when it came to things they could control. They really pay attention to the little details. Like covering our new hardwood floors in ram board to protect it during construction to direct consultations with our cabinet maker. We use Alair Homes Winnipeg for all of our home and business needs! From function to style, they have proven their skill and craftsmanship time and time again. My favorite project we did together is a perfect example of their service, skill and charm! I am a decorator and I have an extremely creative mind. I dream up things and then have no way of bringing my designs to life on my own. Many amazing ideas have gone to the waste side in the past because I couldn't find anyone willing to get creative with me. Enter Collin at Alair Homes Winnipeg. I approached Collin with my vision for an exquisite custom barn style door made from cedar wood with a custom stained glass insert. It needed to be a very large door that slides on a heavy duty, yet stylish track. Not once did Collin make me feel like I was asking for too much. In fact, he was sure to source every single component I asked for. He did not try to sway my creative flow and he seemed to genuinely care as much as I did that the final product reflected my true wants. The finished product is beyond my dreams and I love to show off this masterpiece proudly. The experience of having someone show such care and integrity from start to finish is one I will cherish always. A few years ago, Collin and Mitch of Alair Homes were hired to build our custom dream home. Being business owners ourselves, we truly value and appreciate customer service, which at times seems hard to come by. This certainly was not the case with Collin and Mitch who always professional, approachable and honest. There was never a time in which I felt I was being a bother to them while calling them to discuss our project over the course of the build. Any issues that arose were quickly and efficiently addressed, and they did so in a manner that convinced me that they were treating the build as though they were building their own dream home. Pride in workmanship was evident, and they were mindful that their end product would be a positive reflection of their work. Collin and Mitch were also hired a few years later to renovate our business. This was a stressful time as we only had 2 weeks (work shutdown) for the job to be complete. Collin and Mitch respected this timeline, and did so by putting in many long hours and ensuring that it would not negatively impact our business. We hired Collin, Mitch and their team of courteous, hard working proffessionals to complete a sunroom at the back of our home. We completely enjoyed working with this group. Warren totally renovated a condo for us. He worked with my daughter on design. Great combination of ideas between him and my daughter Pam Kravetsky MArch. He took care of everything. I didn’t have to worry about anything. There was an issue with the flooring and it was replaced and was not a problem for us at all.

Warren arrived promptly for our appointment and spent a lengthy time completing his inspection on every inch of our home! He thoroughly documented each issue, taking photos and writing down suggestions and concerns. Warren is very passionate about his job and had lots of helpful advice to share. He took lots of time to explain any issues related to the property and was very patient and professional in answering all of our questions. Warren completed an extensive report outlining every detail following our walk-thru and invited us to call him whenever if any clarification was needed. As a result of his inspection on our new home, we were able to submit a number of important warranty claims that are now being rectified by our Builder. We highly recommend Warren and the Alair Winnipeg team for their professionalism, attention to detail and outstanding committment to client service. This year (2017) we undertook our 2nd large renovation project with Warren and Alair Winnipeg and it was a resounding success. The project comprised an extensive exterior renovation including painting the entire house, replacing the front door and construction of a new front entrance as well as the construction of a large deck and entertainment area and accompanying landscaping. The project was completed timeously, all issues (inspection and site related) handled professionally and we are delighted with the results. The Alair model with client portal ensures complete transparency and easy access, we found it extremely useful and user friendly and we were able to keep track of progress and costs throughout the project. We did it! After four years of thinking about what to do, move or expand? We love our fantastic location but desperately needed more space. So we added on 450 SF, with basement, to our already upgraded 1200 SF bungalow. We are very happy and proud of the renovation. Thank you so much Warren and Alair Homes for making it happen. Once we learned about Alair Homes and their new way of working on projects, there was no comparison. We had received quotes from two other Companies and Alair was the way to go. From the start we felt everything was fair and open. And they proved it to us before we started construction. It’s an amazing system that no one else does. We highly recommend Alair Homes to anyone building or renovating. Thank you Warren for two things. You and your crew went the extra mile for us with the construction curtains you put up. You gave us an option that kept us living in the house longer during the renovation for our younger kids to go to school and get to activities. We were only out of the house for 6 weeks. Otherwise it would have been 3-4 months. Your efforts and scheduling made our lives much easier. Also, we were very grateful for your expertise in handling the unforeseen problem with the roofline and ceiling height at the side addition. We thought we couldn’t get what we wanted and that there would be a long delay to redesign, but you had two solutions that afternoon with the Framer and new engineered trusses delivered, I think in two days. That was a complicated design incorporating new to old, the angle and the City Code requirements. It turned out great. That was crazy. We heard a few comments during the renovation that made us feel really good about things. One was from a Building Inspector who told us that we hired a terrific company, saying that all the Alair Homes jobsites were always amazingly clean and organized compared to others. He was very impressed with the work and thought he should let us know. Further to that two of Trades told us that they loved working for Alair because the scheduling was always on time and that all the work by previous trades was completed so they didn’t have to work around anyone else or come back another day. People walking by even commented on how professional everything was compared to other jobs being done in the neighbourhood. Keep up the great work.
