We recently purchased an off-plan apartment, which is currently being built. After signing all the contracts, we quickly realized how much we did not know, and looked to others for some advice and knowledge. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of resources out there in Switzerland to help guide a new home buyer through the construction process. We found that the promoter, builder and contractors selected for installing the electricity, plumbing, kitchen, tiles and flooring could provide only limited information, and discovered that it is up to the buyer to make many decisions on things of which they have no knowledge. Luckily, we had Andrée to give us much needed guidance thanks to her years of experience. Firstly, she helped us understand how the Swiss construction industry works, the prices and hidden fees, which items to prioritize (for example, electricity and kitchen), and ways to save money. She also advised us on everything from the distance our kitchen island should be away from the walls, the type and amount of lighting to be installed in our new apartment, the number and heights of electrical outlets, the selection of plumbing fixtures, the color of the paint based on the type of wood flooring and kitchen we chose, the dimensions of the baseboards, and the list goes on. Without her input, we might have made some choices that we would have regretted once the construction is finished, which would have been costly or even impossible to modify. Not only did she provide us with excellent advice, she also patiently listened to our ideas while balancing them with feasibility within a defined budget. Thank you, Andrée for guiding us around and avoiding some of the potential pitfalls that many buyers experience.

Andree did a fantastic job turning my apartment in to a very nice, comfortable and elegant place to live. Andrée did a wonderful work in our house in Switzerland.
