Avenue North

Friends had recommended Avenue North for our building work for their accurate quotes, workmanship and attention to detail. I can happily confirm that all three are of a high standard. They prefer to quote pessimistic estimates and come in under budget if they can, so while they seem expensive initially, you have more peace of mind. Little did we know that our house would turn out to have two significant problems - the walls weren’t built properly and nor was the roof! So, yes, our budget was blown out of the water quite early on, but this was not their fault. Their attention to detail is superb, and they often come up with sensible and practical solutions to problems you hadn’t even thought of yet. What we got at the end of the job was a beautifully-finished extension, utility room and opened-up Kitchen/Dining Room that our friends are very envious of, and more importantly, that fulfils every requirement and desire we had at the outset. I’ve attached three photos - our old, silly little galley kitchen, the new opened-up kitchen-diner, and the new cedar shingle roof to replace the very old and past-it original one. Avenue North’s workmanship is outstandingly good, their labourers are skilled, professional and courteous, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. We’re delighted with their work and look forward to working with them again in future.
