My Berry Outdoor patio is a work of art. Well-crafted art. From concept meetings with Brett to completion the project was a pleasure. It took a bit longer than we wanted because of Covid and supply chain issues, but the final product was worth the wait. The men on the crews were helpful, exceptionally polite and worked hard and meticulously. Special thanks to Nate and Dalton who were a joy to work with. The final product is beautiful, functional and likely will last for centuries.

Brett completed a pool demolition project for us and completed the work in a two (2) week period in February. We feel he and his crews did a very professional job and made sure the fill material was compacted well along with very good top soil over the fill material. In addition he and his crews completed the final grading to keep positive flow of runoff away from our house. Crews completed touch up items per our request. Overall they did a very good job!

Worked with Brett to refine some design ideas. We had the general layout we wanted, but as we were spending a lot of money on the project, we wanted to get another opinion on some of the details / layout. Brett had great ideas for adding a radius to the cooking area as well as other ideas. Thank you Brett!

I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK. Very professional. They completed the work ahead of expectations. My deck looks great!!! They took down the old wood deck. They consructed a landing with steps from the back sliding door. They used this beautiful rock overlay on the existing concrete. Looks like a totaly new patio. They construted a pergula for shade.

Extended our outdoor patio. Built an outdoor Kitchen. Put tile over our old stamped concrete around our pool and built a outdoor fire pit. No surprises! Everything was done with pride and we knew before we started how the work would proceed and how much it would cost. Would highly recommend Barry Outdoor Living.

This is my personal opinion based on the work done by Brett Berry at our home. The job was to adjust the infrastructure of our outdoor kitchen, install a new countertop, and install stone to the outside. The job took forever to complete, there were many mistakes, we were constantly put off for his other projects. The final product, after weeks of frustration and overseeing the "skilled workers" ourselves (they looked and acted more like young interns to me) is not the quality we expected. We hired Berry because he promised high quality from his family business, and he convinced us he was a craftsman who would make sure the job was perfect. Maybe he believed that at first, but as time went on he saw our project as more of a nuisance and started cutting corners and just trying to get it done. The stone counter top ($4,500), after having to send back the first unacceptable stone slabs and reorder, was then cut very inaccurately, with big gaps, cracks and chips. Then he filled in the dents with caulk, which is now disintegrating after the winter. To fill in the 1-2 inch gaps around the posts near the counter (due to inaccurate cutting), he bought a 2X4 and chopped it up, and attached it unevenly with deck screws to the posts. Ridiculous. We had to hire separate contractors to install the electricity and gas lines, and we had to install the grill and sink ourselves. We hired Berry so the project would look perfect and professional, but the only thing he did marginally well was rebuild the infrastructure. So very disappointed in a project that was important to us.

We live in a 110+ year old house and hired Brett to design and build a patio / outdoor room / fireplace. We were very concerned about the design fitting in with the character of the house and neighborhood. He knocked it out of the park on design and build. When given opportunities to cut corners in his favor (both time and money), he did not. For instance, we had a pile of 100 year old bricks. He had his team cut each brick in half to extend their use as a facade for a retaining wall and the fireplace. Very time consuming and hard work, but the right decision for the project. His team is very courteous and hard working (it is dark outside and they are still here finishing some details). Brett is straight forward, communicates well and listens to the owners ideas. Brett had really good ideas. He was good at communicating and I liked his enthusiasm. He understood and listened to my vision.

We had an expansive outdoor flagstone fireplace built on the edge of our existing flagstone patio. It has a large firebox which has provided warmth on chilly November nights. The final project is exactly as we had dreamed. Due to scheduling and weather it took three months from contract signing to project completion.

I have known Brett for over 10 years and have worked with him on several landscape projects. In all my experiences working with Brett I have discovered Brett’s professionalism and creativity to always be at the forefront of his priorities. We were having a lot of washout issues from water running through our yard. Brett Berry figured out how to divert the water just by landscaping and we haven't had any problems since. Where we once had a huge dirt patch where nothing would grow because of the shade, we now have a beautiful, naturalistic shade garden - just like we had always dreamed of having. Brett was very knowledgeable, always courteous, and communicated well.
