IF YOU NEED A CREATIVE SOLUTION, CHECK THIS OUT: Having met JD at a home show a couple years back he told me that “His company wasn’t like the others”. This didn’t give me much hope. We had talked with over 10 other contractors that also assured us they weren’t “like the others” either. But all of those companies absolutely wasted our time. No professionalism, no creative solutions, no call backs, cost prohibitive prices, etc. We had a very unique situation with the way our house was designed, zoning laws and a very particular HOA. These challenges prohibited us from adding a stick built, roofed porch to our house like we had envisioned when we bought the house 3 years ago. The BPI team always showed up on time and prepared. They met us, assessed our challenges and told us they’d get back with us in a couple weeks. My wife and I thought, here we go again. BUT, BPI did call as promised, they wanted to meet us at the showroom to run over what was thought to be a good solution. The BPI facility is impressive. It’s like stepping into a mini-Home Show. Anyway, JD and the BPI Crew shared an absolutely amazing solution to our problem, that NO ONE had thought of…and oh yeah, they had designed a built-in fireplace. I’ll skip to the end, because everything between this and us enjoying our new living space was flawless. The Project Management, Crews, etc were outstanding. We always felt like we were the only project they had going, but we knew this wasn’t the case. The project finished relatively on time (due to unforeseen weather issues) and on budget. I’m recommending this company and wish them great success in the future. If they continue this type of creativity, craftmanship and professionalism, they have plenty of it.

We've used BPI for the past 4 years on several projects. Most recently, we had them completely renovate our back yard, including a new deck, fire pit, landscaping and patio. It was a huge project and we are very pleased with the final product. I would highly recommend the BPI crew.

They completed my fire pit so that I now can light it with a remote switch. Seems to be working and looks very nice. They also did my patio and I really like it. I would only say that I wish they were more responsive time-wise but overall I like my patio and fire pit.

I hired BPI Outdoor Living to complete an outdoor living space that combined the following elements: Covered wood structure with stone columns and a slanted aluminum room (included an outdoor ceiling fan with a light); outdoor kitchen area that included a 36 inch grill and an outdoor refrigerator with a stone surrounding and granite top & a rectangular fire pit with a seating wall surround. Although, everything in the aforementioned exceeded our expectations, if I had any advice for anyone looking at completing an outdoor project it would be not to overlook the finishing touches like outdoor lighting. We added four LED outdoor lights to the seat wall surround, two LED outdoor lights on the outdoor kitchen, two LED path lights and two LED uplights for a river birch and serviceberry that were added to the landscape surrounding the outdoor living space. All of the aforementioned lights are set on a timer and come on at a specific time at dusk and the space is absolutely beautiful at night with the lighting. JD, the BPI designer/owner, was fabulous to work with during the design phase and the quality of the completed project well exceeded our expectations. Additionally, Brandon (Project Manager) for the job was a joy to work with and he took our comments along the way to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the end product. Projects of this size can take several weeks to complete, so you will need to exercise some patience during the process, but the finished product will make it all worth it. One of the big differences that I saw between BPI Outdoor Living and their competitors when going through the process of selecting a vendor to complete the work was that BPI effectively serves as a general contractor for the job (meaning if you need gas installation, electrical installation, outdoor lighting, landscaping, etc.) the BPI staff either did the work or coordinated the other trades to keep me from having to do this during the project, which was very important for me. Additionally, I feel JD was very progressive with his designs and I was really looking for an outdoor living space that was unique and not something I had seen fifty times before and BPI delivered. In a nut shell, I would recommend BPI Outdoor Living to anyone looking to complete an outdoor living space.

We used BPI to add a screened in porch with fireplace, paver patio, fire pit and a new deck. From the start, they were so professional. The drawings were in 3-d and color. The estimate was what I paid. The work was of excellent quality. We love the addition to our home and the workmanship that went into putting it together. Were there issues along the way? Yes, but they were ALL handled quickly and professionally. I have referred BPI to four different people and they have all had similar experiences.

The final product was outstanding. J D worked with our ideas and budget and came up with a spectacular design. Brandon and team did a very professional installation. They were very patient and accommodated a few small changes along the way. Our back yard is now the envy of the neighborhood.

Our experience with BPI has been so positive, we recently completed a third phase / enhancement to our backyard. A few years ago, we also had them add a small patio area to the front of our house as well. After speaking with other companies providing the same service, we learned one key differentiation is their design creativity and process. Not only are they able to capture general ideas in a fabulous design, they present 2D and 3D rendering to help their customers envision the end product. We've recommended BPI to many of our friends and will continue to do so.

Working with BPI was a wonderful experience! From the very beginning they worked with us to make our vision a reality. They gave us options that would fit out budget and make our patio look the best. I was concerned about the colors of the Pavers and never once didn't I feel like my questions were silly and they were more than accommodating to bring out multiple samples until I was satisfied with my selections. The work was pushed back several weeks from the initial start date, but BPI was in constant communication with updating me on when and where they would start. The project crew was polite, hard working and cleaned up their site. BPI was definitely worth the wait!!

During the construction of our new house I interacted with countless trades and subcontractors and I can definitively write that BPI was hands down the best to work at our home. They designed and built a beautiful 500 sq ft elevated paver patio and hot tub pad. In the future they will be doing an outdoor kitchen, paver area with a gas firepit as well as landscape lighting and pavers around a pool. We felt that the employees were incredibly professional, prompt and detailed and it was evident that they cared about their work and their company's reputation. We are really satisfied with the BPI design and execution of our backyard patio project. From the beginning of the design process to the final touches, all team members acted professionally and responsively to our needs. We hired BPI Outdoor Living to build a new patio in our backyard and install additional landscaping in fall of 2014. We worked with several different individuals at BPI, and I found all of them to be very easy to work with. They were always on time for appointments, and always returned mails/calls promptly. We were very pleased with the quality of work - there were no major or unexpected surprises or issues. For the few things that did need special attention, BPI was very quick in responding and getting things taken care of. Overall we would recommend BPI for anyone looking to build a new patio or install new landscaping for their home.

We called BPI to build an outdoor space complete with a kitchen space, featuring two Big Green Eggs. From the first meeting with the owner to design the space, to the finish and beyond, BPI has exceeded out expectations! Every crew member they sent was kind and professional....and their project manager made several trips taking care of every last detail! Would recommend BPI over and over!!!
