"I have adopted the title of ‘site designer’ because your site is the basis for exploration and invention of design. It includes the way your house sits on the land, the way you access your house, how you function in your home and the artisitic individual characteristics you integrate with the furnishings you possess." Carolyn The natural way you live in your space, inside and out, as well as the way you engage in your community, are all relevant to the way I design for you. No two of my projects are anything alike. Yes, I have a style but it’s secondary to my client’s. My style includes artistic applications, craftsmanship and clean simple design solutions.

Carolyn did wonderful design work for us. From the moment she first "met" our home, she started giving us great, creative, ideas to improve our home's interior. She was always mindful of what our style was (she help us figure out what "our" style was), how we used our home, and how to get everything into an integrated look that worked for us. we ended up improving how we "live" in our home as well as how it looks. Carolyn is truly inventive, but she was always mindful of using her creativity in a way that matched our style and the fundamental architecture of our home. So, some of her great ideas were easy to implement, but made a big difference. Others were more work, but so obviously "right" that it was worth it. Can't say enough good things about her style, process and insight!

I have worked with Carolyn for 11 years - 2 major projects and one smaller one as well as other contributions she has made - and it has always been a real pleasure. You can see photos of my kitchen - Dolores Heeb Residence on this site. Carolyn is creative and responsive to my tastes, while often offering new ideas and ways of looking at things. I value her eye and talent for composition. She is meticulous and has the very highest standards. The results of her work are practical, elegant, and always interesting. The breadth of her knowledge, skill, and artistry is very impressive. She is the most creative person I know. She's also fun to work with.

A commenté : LampThis is an Art Deco French lamp I own. So I am sorry it is not available to buy. But, if I was to look for such a lamp, I would check classic Art Deco sites.
