CJ Carpentry

We were referred to CJ by a friend who had used him. We were not disappointed with the service! CJ came when he said he would (both for quoting and getting the job done) and the end result is amazing. We replaced all skirtings throughout our house, changing over from a cheep laminated product that was peeling and disintegrating. The new skirtings are modern and durable and look fantastic. We also added some extra work to finish off our stairs and it turned out better than we could have expected. We’re so impressed, our house has been transformed. And all at a very reasonable price.

CJ did our cedar lined ceilings, skirtings, shelving, doors and tv cabinets. His attention to detail is nothing short or amazing. He takes great pride in his craft and it shows. The finish is exceptional and we are now very proud of our home. We wouldn’t change a thing. Thanks CJ!

We asked Cj for a purpose built free standing cupboard. The result exceeded our expectations. The cupboard looks great in our spare room with plenty of shelves, hanging rails and storage. There was limited mess and he cleared up at the end of each day. He was very professional and polite, nothing was too much trouble and the project was finished early. We would thoroughly recommend him.

I commissioned CJ to do all of my joinery work for my new house build and was very glad i did. The level of quality and the professional approach he went about his work contributed greatly to the finished product of the house. In the end i had Chris construct skirting boards, custom sliding doors, architraves, wall panelling, laundry chute and stair and balcony balustrading and even decided to have him do the fence panel infills to match the balcony perfectly. I was able to give him a photo (some of those ideas sourced from houzz) , dimensions and he would determine for me the quantities required and the best construction method to turn my ideas into a reality. He also provided invaluable advice to my limited knowledge of wood work to deliver a product with both a practical and quality perspective, something i am grateful for. The attention to detailing of his work is apparent on inspection and the feedback i received from my other trades working onsite was how friendly and accomodating attitude he had and how he contributed to a healthy working enviornment onsite. CJ was able to make himself available to suit my timings and regularly made multiple visits to site to work around my other trades. His pricing was very reasonable and I hope to engage CJ's services again in the future when i have the good fortune of building again. Very happy with the job done by CJ. I required a new door and locks installed, I had been told by the previous installer that it could not be done due to the framework. CJ was prompt and punctual and got the job done. He was a pleasure to deal with and I would have no hesitation in calling again or recommending him to others.
