We are Compass Ironworks, established in 1998, an off the grid company in Lancaster County, PA. Lancaster county is internationally known for its skilled artisans, impeccable craftsmanship and dedicated work ethic. We create and forge Iron or solid aluminum from raw elements to completed, sophisticated Iron works of art, collaborating with architects designers, builders and homeowners to create their specific design style. Utilizing raw materials with 97-100% recycled content, and a robust and eco-friendly powder-coat that is VOC-Free and 99.9% reclaimable. We service the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond with an emphasis on quality, service, and sustainability, creating timeless and stunning Iron Masterpieces for Estate Gates, Interior main foyers, terrace railings, swimming pool or property fences, and waterfront areas subject to harsh elements.

Amos Glick and his team at Compass Ironworks created an incredible custom sculpture of a Japanese maple tree for the Clinic for Special Children's 25th Anniversary. He went above and beyond with every aspect of the project – incredible attention to detail, life-like detail, custom patina, and special coatings to ensure durability in the elements. If that wasn't enough, Compass Ironworks donated a second custom sculpture that sold at our benefit auction. Working with Compass Ironworks on this project was an absolute joy and remains one of the best professional experiences of my career. I highly recommend Amos Glick and Compass Ironworks!

Compass Ironworks did extensive ironwork both interior and exterior for our new home, including a lovely post for feeding the birds! The special custom finish for our interior staircase is absolutely beautiful. In every step their professional and personal attention to detail and excellence was outstanding. We want to take this opportunity to thank Amos, Ben, Adam, Michael, Rob and the rest of the Compass Ironworks team for the amazing job they did on designing, fabricating, and installing our driveway gates and property fencing. The gates and fencing look and feel indestructible yet provide an elegant and classic detail to our property. The automation of our driveway gates and our self-locking pedestrian doors are smooth and seamless. We are not only impressed with the quality of the work by Compass Ironworks but also their responsiveness and communication throughout the entire build process.
