We've been very happy and grateful for Mindy's help as we've redesigned the house we bought last fall. I didn't have very many ideas in my head for what I wanted, I just knew what I wanted to CHANGE, and Mindy had tons of ideas for making the space fit our needs better. She guided us to the best paint colors, lighting options and flooring choices, and that was just the start! She also helped come up with a vision for changing the master bathroom layout and other items around the house that may have seemed minor, like the stair railing, but that actually ended up making a huge difference. Working with her has definitely been worth the time and money spent. It saved me a lot of energy in finding everything we wanted and the people to do it since she has a lot of local contacts for getting the work done. Consummate professional with an extensive network of resources! My family worked with Mindy to not just stage a house for residential sale but to create an experience for potential buyers. Mindy knows how to draw a buyer's eye toward the absolute best selling features. The time and investment led to contract offers within ten days of listing and highest selling price point per square foot in the neighborhood to date. This is not a quick stage of a picture and some flowers. This is creating an experience for buyers when entering a home. Several brokers commented the home sold itself based on presentation. I hired Mindy Abrasion, from Distinguishing Style, LLC, to help stage my home prior to putting it up for sale. I wasn't aware of all that this would entail, but I knew that I needed help. Mindy was indispensable! There is no way that I could have finished this project without her kind, patient and knowledgable assistance. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mindy worked to ensure that my house was ready to be photographed, and she made sure that each and every detail was taken care of. Mindy began by meeting with me and my realtor. She first interviewed me and toured my house, in order to familiarize herself with my unique needs. She provided a detailed list of necessary repairs and upgrades that needed to be accomplished. She picked out paint colors and inventoried my furnishings and artwork, so that I didn't have to make any unnecessary purchases. As I went about making necessary repairs, Mindy checked in with me constantly. She offered encouragement and advice along the way. Whenever I had a question, she was quick with an answer, and she didn't mind stopping by to check the status of the project. She helped to keep me on schedule, and helped to provide a realistic timeline to finish. I am so happy and proud of how my house looked when it was finished, and I owe it all to Mindy and her vision!

There is a distinct difference between living in your home and prepping your home for sale. The before and after photos are indicative of how Mindy was able to enhance those special features in each room and Wow! the prospects touring the property! Mindy has a great vision when she views the anticipated "project" and is able to convert a well lived in property to a bright, spacious, updated property by using the Owner's personal furnishings and making changes from twin beds to a king size bed to illustrate to the prospect how a California King bed can be accommodated in the master bedroom. Mindy's objective to show off the wall space that could accommodate prospect's furnishings if large pieces are owned, removing the draperies to enhance the updated windows that are present; to update the kitchen by making simple changes to the countertops, providing a different arrangement of furnishings in the eat-in area to grab the attention of the prospect, changing out light fixtures, and so much more have turned a well lived-in property to an updated looking home in an established area.
