I have been eyeing out a ceramic grill for a while and spent a lot of time researching my options. I am an avid griller, enjoy Pizza and compete in BQQ competitions, so need an option that is fully versatile. My main concerns revolved around cooking temperature consistency, durability, accessories available and grill surface area v the overall cost. Based on these factors I decided on the Primo Oval XL 400. The order experience was easy and delivery time was 2 weeks, possibly a little longer than I would have liked. On ordering my XL 400 I was informed that delivery required a facility to offload a pallet as the weight of the grill is significant. I did not have that option available so was going to cancel the order. Fortunately, the guys in Primo arranged a delivery lorry that allowed the pallet to be offloaded and shifted with a pallet truck. It was simple enough as I didn't need to navigate any stairs. I have not used it yet as I am waiting for the building of my outdoor kitchen. I will be looking forward to sharing my photos of the finished job including the Primo when completed.

Love this Grill! I never had any luck outdoor cooking with my Weber BBQ. The coals blew out, couldn't get it up to temperature, couldn't maintain heat temperatures etc etc, and resulted in a less than good BBQ'd roast many times. Then I stepped up to a Primo. I was impressed from the first light, when 15 minutes later the temperature soared to 600F!! Now, hundreds of successful cookings later, I would never look back. The fabulous temperature control, and the ceramic to hold the moisture, means amazing flavour every time!

The Primo Grill is the best bbq we have ever owned. Being the owners of build in charcoal bbq from Italy, gas bbq and a Weber bbq I can honestly say nothing compares to the Primo. It was so good we bought one each for our sons. We could not rate it high enough, a must for all bbq fans and those who just love cooking outside.
