Ladd Upholstery Designs located in HIGH SPRINGS FLORIDA wants to provide our customers with artfully styled furniture that symbolizes craftsmanship and service of a bygone era. Furniture is Ladd and Rose's passion and when they're not hiking, camping or jogging along the beach they are in their shop designing beautiful pieces of furniture for their customers and their BOUTIQUE. Thirty years ago Ladd and Rose moved to Hickory NC. Ladd worked at Hickory Chair and Hickory Business Furniture building leather covered, executive furniture. Later he worked for Century Furniture on their chair and sofa line. Ladd and Rose opened their first upholstery business in Charleston, SC in 1988 upholstering antiques for the mansions along Battery Row and The Old Village in Mt Pleasant. In 1999 Ladd and Rose decided to move back to Florida to be closer to relatives and friends.They settled near Gainesville and built their business servicing Alachua, Columbia and St Johns Counties. What makes them truly unique is their unmatched craftsmanship.
