I am an award winning artist, residing in Denver, Colorado. I incorporate techniques from Antiquity through the Renaissance to Modern and Contemporary Art. From sculptures to frescoes and mosaics, I use a combination of natural color rocks and metal to create an unique contrast of elements. I specialize in chasing and repousse (an ancient metalworking techinque), lost-wax bronze casting and work with other media such as wood, clay, plaster, and stone. I have over 30 years of experience in art and design in both Europe and the United States. My work also includes custom metal interior and exterior design, black, silver and goldsmithing, metal handrails, furniture (tables, doors, gates, fireplaces, kitchen hoods), lights, and artistic rock designs. My art has been exhibited at the Rourke Art Museum in Moorhead, Minnesota; the Downtown Art Gallery in Fargo, North Dakota; and the Royal St. Art Gallery in Aspen, Colorado. I am flexible and easy to work with. I can create custom designs or change existing pieces to match the look and style of any space. I had the pleasure of meeting Boris through a friend. I have already purchased 3 of his works. Two custom made statues, a portrait of my mother and I, and a Taurus; and a stone/rock mosaic of a horse's head. Incredible works, such depth and attention to detail, extraordinary designs. The photos don't do justice to his art. If you have a chance, I'd strongly encourage you to see it in person.

I had the pleasure to photograph Boris' work at his studio, develop a website for him, and experience his craft first hand. Every piece he makes is done with utmost care and artistic vision. Each art piece, or functional art piece that leaves his workshop creates experience that's unforgettable. They are breathtaking in person, and his hospitality and kindness makes you love his work to the core. His work is a hidden gem of Colorado, especially his toreutic art - must be experienced in person.

The only thing I don't like about Boris' work ... nothing ! What I Love about his work is everything, his attention to your vision, detail, and workmanship. He is a true and complete art master, and I can't possibly imagine anyone not being absolutely thrilled with the finished piece in their home.

Boris Sarikov is a wonderful sculptor who worked with us at Fireside Elementary on two projects in the past 2 years. The first was a falcon that leads into our outdoor classroom and garden. The second was designing and sculpting a dancing girls birdbath as a memorial to a Fireside student who passed away. Boris was always creative and thoughtful as we worked on this memorial. He designed beautiful art works for our school,.

I've worked with Boris on all kinds of projects over the last 7 years and can honestly say that he's one of the best overall craftsmen in the business. His large specter of abilities and craft, attention to detail, experience, and high standard of quality has always left clients impressed and satisfied. There isn't a job too complex or difficult for him, over the years I've seen him finish projects requiring extreme concentration and responsibility; from gold Menorahs to bronze spheres... The work and creativity speaks for itself. If you're looking for design inspired by ideas and rooted in ancient tradition, Boris is your man.

Boris Sarikov’s art work is where the East meets the West and flourishes in abundant creative production of art and design. Boris is an artist with vivid imagination, profound knowledge of the arts and he is technically highly and professionally skilled, a combination which was characteristic for the old masters but is very rare these days. His work is exact opposite of today’s short-lived production of everything. His pieces are classical and eternal as a quality and material. They are unique as artistic conception and their value is only going to grow with time. Lucky are those of us who posses some of his works!

Stone and Cottonwood

I have worked with Boris Sarikov for several years, and find in him a wellspring of artistry which is absolutely unique. His talent begins with vision, to see a room, and architectural element, or a stone lying beside the trail in ways that you and I could never imagine. That vision is then brought forth into reality through his deep skills working with stone, steel, bronze, and other media. No matter what the project, our collaborations have always left the clients with a sense of wonder (in a good way).
