We hired Grand Union Designs to build our new kitchen, and subsequently study furniture as well. These were to be fitted following a complete renovation, and so the kitchen design process stretched out for over a year. Phil was a joy to work with throughout this period, was always happy to offer advice and draw up revised plans, and never pressured us to commit to a design or put down a deposit until we were ready to place an order. Once the units had been part completed we were able to visit their workshop and see ‘our kitchen’ laid out as it would be, to make sure we were completely happy with the layout. When the time came to fit there were a number of modifications and tweaks required, due to unexpected complications in our renovation process. Grand Union accommodated these without complaint and their team of craftsmen who came to fit were an absolute joy to have in the house. They were always cheery, tidy, and seemed focused on making sure we were happy with the end result above all else. We’re absolutely delighted with our study and kitchen, and would use Grand Union again without hesitation.

I have been photographing Grand Union Designs' work for just over a year and it never ceases to amaze me how individual each room is whilst maintaining the highest quality, workmanship and style that these homes deserve. Working with Grand Union Designs has been an amazing experience and allowed me to show the build and quality of their products through my photography. I'm looking forward to photographing more exciting up and coming projects in the months ahead.

We commissioned a bespoke kitchen and, from inception to completion of the project, the service, quality and expertise were exemplary. Phil's input and suggestions in designing the final layout and unit combination were massively helpful. He was also able to source exactly the unusual granite worktops I had in mind. The company offer the extremely useful facility to view the units as a work in progress at their factory so that changes, if required, can be made prior to installation. Another massive advantage is that, if the building work is delayed the units can be stored at their premises so there's no pressure on the customer in terms of taking delivery. The hand painted finish is to an exceptionally high quality and any snagging requirements are dealt with quickly and without fuss. When the kitchen was finally installed we discovered that we had been given an additional floor unit as a 'gift' as Phil thought the base unit run on one of the walls would look incomplete without it. He was absolutely right and I can't imagine many companies who would provide that level of personal detail. We were so delighted with the kitchen that, in addition, we commissioned a bathroom vanity unit and will doubtless have other pieces made. I am truly more than happy to recommend Grand Union Designs.
