Hartmann Designs Ltd is an International Interior Design practice based in London committed to the creation of exceptional Design. With a portfolio of work spanning Europe, Africa and the Middle East, the practice has worked on a wide range of projects including large-scale hospitality, corporate and high-end residential projects. All of the projects are individually developed with a strong emphasis on analysing and challenging the brief in order to meet the Client’s specific aesthetic value, function and budgets. HDL provided full design and project oversight from concept to final acceptance of our restaurant's fit-out. We were happy to find someone with the level of knowledge and experience that HDL has who also has familiarity and understanding of Ethiopian architectural elements. Above all, HDL was patient with the process and have done multiple design iterations until we were satisfied with the look, feel, and functionality of our space and yet delivered the scope with in budget and schedule The result is a wonder to everyone that stops by our venue. In the middle of Dubai's glitzy food and hospitality scene, the interior design of our Restaurant is recognized by many as unique, authentic with its Ethiopian elements, and warm. HDL went above and beyond to assure great execution of the whole project.

I have worked with Hartmann Designs on several projects. They are a pleasure to work with. They have a particular eye for detail across all aspects of a project. I would highly recommend working with them on future projects.

Hartmann Designs were engaged to do a complete re-fit of a 3 bed flat overlooking the Thames at the Southbank. The flat had not been refurbished since the block's conversion from offices in the early 1990s, and the work entailed replacing just about everything including ceilings and most internal walls. HDL designed and project-managed the whole piece, and oversaw the engagement of tradesmen for the various disciplines. They designed everything down to the fabrics and also sourced the fixtures and fittings. HDL provided exceptional design and attention to detail, combined with a very personal and personable relationship with me the client. Budgets were reviewed at regular design meetings and tailored to my requirements. Only slight criticism would be that timings were sometimes over-optimistic, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I have worked with Roland for many years, photographing his projects - all of which have been stunning and a pleasure to capture. In my opinion Roland is exceptionally Client focussed and his meticulous attention to detail, stylistic flare and highly professional approach to his projects and our subsequent photoshoots makes for and enjoyable and rewarding working relationship.
