Claims Process Experience - Fact based review. Dec 15 - The move: various items broken by movers. Dec 18 - Claim process started. Back and forth till Dec 30 to complete the submission process. Time consuming. Jan 2 - Hercules acknowledged refund amount ready by the following week. Jan 15 - Emailed Hercules since no news since Jan 2. Jan 17 - Called Hercules. They claim that the person in charge is on vacation. Jan 24 - Hercules promised refund by Monday Jan 27th. Jan 29 - Emailed Hercules. No response. Feb 10 - Emailed Hercules. No response. Feb 25 - Called Hercules. Advise again and they will “get back to me”. UPDATE since the above review was posted: Feb 27 - A day after I posted this Google review, I received an email threatening me that they will withhold payment (that I’m entitled to) if I don’t take down the review. I feel obliged as a social responsibility to share how fabricated threats to customer is apparently their latest standard on customer service. - truthful negative online review = withhold payment of a full replacement value insurance the customer purchased." - Will an untruthful positive review be okay I suppose? “If you have read the HMC's Terms and Conditions, you would be aware that if you have an active dispute with our company and you choose to proceed with 3rd party resolutions such as legal action or social media platform reviews, I cannot proceed with your claim further considering you have already left a negative review on Google. I spoke to the head office the deadline for the cheque is next week, we will pay you the agreed reinbursement under the condition that you work with us within the policy guidelines. It was a pleasure working with Hercules Moving Company, for my recent move. The whole idea of moving is always so stressful but they made it a breeze. Beginning with the admin team, whom were very easy going, clear and always reachable throughout the process of my move. During my move I got to meet two incredible movers Simas and Vidas, they were very professional and the quality of work was impressive. All my furniture was shrink wrapped with blanket pads, and was all carefully taken cared of from place to place. I would like to thank Simas and Vidas for the incredible work and also the girls in the admin team! I will definitely be recommending Hercules Moving Company to everyone!
