KCreative Interiors was founded by Karina Crombie who was born in New Zealand and grew up on NSW South coast before moving to Sydney to pursue a successful career in the fashion industry. Her strong interest in the creative world and natural ability to understand space, colour, light and contrast steered her away from the fashion world and, instead, toward the interior design and styling industries. She worked with Euroluce, Smart Design Studio and Insight Projects whilst studying for her qualifications at the renowned Design Centre Enmore and upon graduating (2009) began a freelance career in Sydney. Early recognition of her talent led to Karina’s collaboration with well-known brands, top-architects, designers and design magazines including Real Living –Jason Grant, Alexandra Kidd Design & Barnes & Barnes which quickly launched her career firmly placing her as a fresh, young and exciting designer to work with. Today Karina runs KCreative Interiors consulting on both residential and commercial projects to create stunning spaces for you to work, live, create and grow in.

We had the pleasure of working with Karina from K Creative Interiors for our home renovation, and it was an exceptional and enjoyable experience from start to finish. We worked with Karina over a period of 3 months for designing and overseeing execution of a range of work at our apartment. She really understood the Palm Springs style we were after as well as how we wanted to live, but also came up with additional suggestions which took the concept further to create something unique. Her connections across the trades were invaluable too, and the works were carried out by great people all with a care in their work. We really enjoyed the process of working with her and are thrilled with the result.

I worked with KCreative to style my home for sale. Karina was professional, efficient and a joy to work with. She listened to my needs and understood my time frame and objective well. I have used Karina's expertise on 2 properties and can highly recommend. First was a gut and re-fit of a studio in Potts Point. Karina helped with concepts and developed drawings to create smart storage solutions; enabling me to move to a smaller square meterage, but with more storage then a one-bedroom. The result was a clean contemporary space that always looked tidy. For the warehouse apartment in Pyrmont, a very limited budget meant that a creative solution was required to update a very tired kitchen. Keeping the bones of the existing kitchen, she remodelled to modernise, with detailed drawings assisting the builder and helping me to understand the final outcome. I ended up with a beautiful kitchen, quadruple the amount of storage on a very respectable budget. The bedroom wardrobe was also re-designed and replaced with a wall of storage, allowing 2 peoples years of "stuff" to be hidden away in an orderly manner. I attribute her skill-set to the achievement of excellent sales prices when it came time to move. Thanks again :)

I used KCreative Interiors to style my whole apartment. Throughout the whole process Karina was consultative, thoughtful and professional with some really great ideas. We stayed within budget and had regular reviews to ensure that was the case. All up, it was a stress free, fun experience and I will definitely call on KCreative for other projects.

Karina did a wonderful job in designing and project managing our beautiful new office fitout. Nothing was too much trouble for Karina. Her creative side is excellent in sourcing furniture, and pieces and colours. Karina was willing to listen to our requests, even though they may have been against her better judgement and she made the whole process very smooth. I highly recommend her.
