Outstanding is all we can say! We had a very very difficult project. One that had to be designed around a 200 yr old oak tree that could not be injured in the design/construction with explicite guidlines that had to be met per our arborist and not only did they do it; they did it with finesse!! All I can say is James and his team went above and beyond! The outcome was better than we could have expected. We highly recommend them, call now, do not hestite. The photos speak for themselves. Cant wait until the plants and flowers are at their peak height in a few years! James and his workers were fantastic. When we moved here 2 years ago we had a retaining wall that leaned, and last summer it finally collapsed. James was recommended to us to redesign it. We also had many other things that were in disrepair from neglect over the years such as a crumbling patio wall, uneven patio, poor drainage in areas, and extremely overgrown landscaping around the entire house. James and his crew were amazing at designing and implementing the design and we are so pleased with the result. They were professional, very easy to work with and extremely hard working! James and his crew helped turn our basic backyard patio into a zen-like retreat! We are not the easiest people to work for because of our creative backgrounds, indecisive nature and intense attention to quality and detail. James possessed the perfect level of patience, professionalism and guidance that we needed. After our inground pool build we had large mounds of leftover fill and a yard in terrible shape. James came in and designed 2 gorgeous berms. It was absolutely awesome to watch his crew sculpture those berms into natural glacier-carved looking remnants with rustic gold outcroppings, evergreens and chanticleer pear trees. They did an excellent job grading the entire property, and applied weed barrier, seed/straw blanket, aluminum edging and stone chips that makes our backyard simply delightful! Give James a call!

My wife and I built a new Lake home. Contractors seldom include this big ticket item in the budget. Wish i had known this IN ADVANCE. But landscaping was a key aspect of our dream lake home. It had to be done well. We received multiple bids and nearly choked on all of them. A local stone yard recommended we use Landscape Master and we had them over for a bid. The creativity of the plan was inspiring and the pricing was FAIR. Early in the project, I arrived after work to see that the curve of the stone staircase was different than my expectations. Landscape Master never BLINKED and changed it without even a strange steer my way. This added HOURS of work on their side. The more you sit with James the owner, the more trust you gain in him. His knowledge is broad and his ability to dream alongside you with a fair but not outlandish budget is second to none. I just told him the other day that when a team is on your property for weeks at a time, you are bound to catch them doing something that rubs you the wrong way. But the secret sauce to Landscape Master is James has brilliantly assembled teams that are incented to work hard, not waste time and do the job RIGHT. And when they hire a new person, it is usually a person that already knows someone on their team and is trusted and their work ethic is established. They really do work as a cohesive team and we were so moved by them that my wife MADE me rush to the ATM for some cash on the evening of their last day here to give them a special financial HUG from us for helping create our personal shangri la without bankrupting us. I trusted James's inspiration and our yard is now gorgeous. He explains things in layman's terms and will honor his promise to you. I would only warn you that his FIRM handshake (from years of hard work) will break your hand if you are not properly braced for hit. But the good news is that when James DOES shake your hand, he MEANS it and stands by it. In a world which can often be riddled with RIP OFF artists, it will lead you to write reviews like this so that others can also know that you can trust this company and it's people. We need companies like this to thrive. MY WIFE is a stickler for detail and she can be a tough customer if mistreated. We spent tens of thousands of dollars with James and he has truly inspired us and we know if we ever have a problem, he stands by his sometimes painful handshake and a leader like that deserves rave reviews.

It's been just over a year now since we hired Landscape Master LLC to do a extensive landscape project around our home. While I could carry on about all the great attributes of this company, let me just keep it simple. Working with James was a pleasure from initial meeting to the year after followup service that he just completed. He did everything that he said he would and then some at the agreed upon price. The quality of his and his crew's work was excellent and met all of our expectations. Any concerns that we had during and after the project were always addressed to our satisfaction. Great Experience with the Landscape Master! Professionalism from start to finish. We had some work done about a year ago, and couldn't be happier with the work that was done. I couldn't be happier with the work James and his crew did at my new construction home! The ideas James came up with were excellent (I love my stone stairs). The process of installing my lawn, paths, lighting, trees, shrubs and flowers went much faster than I anticipated. They started the job and stuck with it until the end. The crew was very easy to work with which made it that much better of an experience. In the end, I think I have the best landscaped yard on my block and proudly refer Landscape Master every time I get the chance.
