Lorla Studio

Lorla Studio is a Washington DC area full service interior design studio. We specialize in high end residential remodel and renovation projects, and love working on commercial projects, particularly in the hospitality sector. We work closely with you to understand the basic functional needs of your home and lifestyle, or your brand and business, to determine your desired aesthetic. Once we have a good feel for these fundamental parameters we work within your budget to deliver a space that is unique to your needs and values, and one that reflects the existing architecture and and geographical location. We source materials, furniture and decor from all over the world, and have fostered relationships with artists, vendors and craftsmen to ensure quality. We prioritize working with smaller businesses, local companies and other vendors who prioritize social and environmental sustainability, over big box stores. However, most of our projects are a mix of high and low pieces, high value solutions mixed with one-off finds, and some items from large retailers. We love incorporating vintage elements into our projects, and if we can’t find what we’re looking for locally, we have a wealth of online vintage retailers we utilize. We also love designing bespoke elements for your space, and regularly do so. We have customized everything from furniture, to millwork, to art and more. Often times the full potential of a space is only realized through a custom solution, tailored to the exact parameters of your home or business.
