We worked with Linda on a bathroom project. She was a terrific with helping us get the project off the ground. We weren't even sure where to start. She helped us by putting together a more organized approach and provided suggestions that helped us accomplish our project goals. Linda helped me complete my granddaughter’s baby room. She worked with the pieces I already had and added pieces I needed to complete the room. She helped with the flooring, wall color and window treatments. Linda has a great eye for color. I couldn’t be happier with the finished room.

I have worked with Linda twice in the last couple of years. The first time she helped me with colors for my foyer. Most recently she helped with colors for my rooms on the first floor of my house. She also worked with me to get a luxury vinyl flooring that would match my busy countertop in my kitchen. This was a real challenge since my countertop was a mixture of colors! She and I went to the flooring company she recommended and then she recommended the contractor that installed the tile. Both the tile company and the contractor were excellent! She also assisted with the color for my cellular shades and in looking for an area rug for my family room.
Linda is personable and great to work with!

Linda was wonderful to work with and made a kitchen and master bath remodel easier. Linda went shopping with us to help select everything so it would all work together, making suggestions about items and show how they would fit into the overall design. I was hesitant to choose paint colors that would blend with the adjacent rooms. Linda solved that problem with beautiful colors. Linda was aware of our budget and worked to stay in that price range. Linda is very easy going and fun to work with. The kitchen and master bath are beautiful. I would recommend calling Linda for help with any remodeling project. You won't be disappointed.

A kitchen remodel with a change to the layout of the kitchen and some appliances. This remodel was wonderfully designed and beautifully put together - from the countertop to the paint. Had a good time going to pick tile, sink, cabinets and even the handles - we had a pleasant time getting every piece in place. Dealing with Linda - was good - her being professional, but, also, easy to go over my thoughts and her come back with her ideas for my space. Having work done could be a hard process but my experience was stress-free.

We are just wrapping up a project to repaint our kitchen cabinets and cabinets in 3 bathrooms and we cannot be happier with the result thanks to the design work Linda provided for our rooms. After visiting paint stores and bringing home countless paint samples, my husband and I could not decide on the best colors and were starting to get lost in the dizzying array of hardware options and colors. We also realized this change could create a domino effect in 4 rooms (repainting walls, changing window coverings & wall hangings) and those changes were not in our budget.
We decided to contact Linda when we learned that our job was up next and we needed to make decisions in 4 days. Linda worked with us virtually to provide color options, hardware advice and used a color visualizer to show us the end result. She also provided samples of other "before" and "after" updates to help us quickly finalize decisions. Linda completed her work within 48 hours of my first contact to her. She has a great eye for customized design and ensures she meets her customer needs (she selected colors that look great and we have no domino effect). Yet again a perfect color for my side and front doors. Lived in this house for four years, disliked door colors. (Both were different.) I kept looking at samples for a long time and none worked for me. I had Linda over and within a few minutes, the perfect color. Love it, she is amazing with color.

Linda met and exceeded my expectations! Working from home during the early months of Covid had forced me to look at my Mamie Eisenhower pink bathroom one too many times. I couldn't stand it anymore but had no idea where to start. Linda took one look and immediately suggested three options that thrilled me! All during the renovation she listened to me and worked with my tastes. Linda helped me visualize the finished room and was always available for questions. I was living in Georgia and bought a house in Illinois that needed major renovations before I moved in. I hired a contractor for my project but realized I needed help with the design and needed help finding cabinets, countertops, fixtures, etc. I found Linda through Houzz and I'm so grateful I did. I contacted Linda because of the great things her clients said and they were absolutely right! Linda is a true professional with great design ability and a practical approach.
We were looking to update our kitchen, powder room and master bath. Linda immediately understood our vision and was able to bring a fresh perspective that gave us the confidence to get the work started. Linda has great resources and she is extremely efficient in choosing the materials. In one weekend morning we had the tile and lighting picked out and ordered. She also has great trade partners to do the work—professional and responsive.

Linda was incredibly helpful when I had a question about a beautiful custom rug she used in one of her designs! Unfortunately, I was unable to use her services because we are located in different states, however she was kind enough to provide me with information I could use in ordering the rug myself. I've known Linda for years through the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce. We have planned several events together for her Networking group. When our party room doors needed a makeover, I knew who to call and that I would be in great hands. Linda & Jo-Ann (from Department of Interiors) assisted with picking out the perfect color, rods, brackets & installation.
Just recently, I had contacted Linda as one of the brackets needed to be fixed, we set up an appointment right away, and it actually just ended up being a lost screw. I hope to have the opportunity to work with Linda again!

Linda provided excellent advice on wall colors and window treatments for moving into a townhouse. She listened to my preferences and offered spot-on options. It was fast and easy to make selections in which I had a lot of confidence, there was no second-guessing, and the results are lovely. Linda also provided references for a painter and other contractors, and all the work was completed very well in a timely manner. I recommend Linda for outstanding advice on color, offering ideas based on the client's preferences and furnishings, and sensitivity to budget.

Linda is very pleasant to work with and her fees are fair. She took what I had and came up with ways to achieve a lighter palette. My living and dining combo was dark with heavier materials. I wanted to lighten it up. She brought me drape, chair and rug ideas/fabrics. It is a work in process still due to my budget. I finished the chairs and rug and now need drape and lighting. Next project is my bedroom and I will continue to use Linda. She is easy going and gets it right the first time. Her recommendations are spot on. I have a very small townhouse, which was still all white after many years of living here. I wanted to fix up the place, but had no idea where to start. Linda was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad I found her!
The project started as a small kitchen remodel, but then I thought as long as I have Linda here, let’s expand this to the powder room and living area. So that’s what we did.
Linda was wonderful to work with. She was very flexible, I work many hours and she worked around my schedule, which was greatly appreciated. She also would meet people at my house if I could not be there. It didn’t take her long to figure out what my “style” was, and she was able to help me pick out kitchen cabinets, countertops, flooring, window treatments, colors, everything for the powder room, a few pieces of furniture, etc. (More than I could have handled on my own…)
Linda made sure I stayed within my budget. Her team of professionals are the best; quality work, on-time and reasonably priced.
I enjoyed spending time with Linda, it made what I considered a difficult task, fun. I am very pleased with the final product and I now love walking into my house! I plan to use Linda (LMR Designs) once I am ready to start my upstairs. Thank you, Linda!

I have worked with Linda on several decorating projects over the past five years. She has a talent for picking just the right colors and guiding the client gently to develop a cohesive design plan. I hired Linda to help advise me on decorating/furnishing a condominium recently purchased. She helped especially with getting my living room area comfortable and visually pleasing. Linda recently provided her expertise in the design of a total renovation of our home: kitchen, 2 1/2 bathrooms, flooring/tile/carpet, lighting, paint, furniture, window treatments, etc. Her design knowledge and ability to guide us through the process including selections were made timely to keep the project on track was invaluable. She has contacts at showrooms and stores that allowed us to select from a wide variety of styles and price ranges.
Linda is easy to work with; listens to your ideas & concerns, works within your budget, provides advice, but will not pressure you, and responds promptly to your calls/texts. A few times I second guessed a selection we made and Linda patiently listened to my concerns and calmed me by explaining why it was a good choice.
With Linda's years of experience she is able to provide recommendations of various trades and the ones we hired provided quality service and worked in a timely and professional manner.
We now have a beautiful 'new' home that will transition well into the coming years thanks to Linda's expertise. I would highly recommend Linda to anyone who needs design or remodeling work.

We were looking for help in refreshing a house we just bought, in terms of fresh painting, carpeting, installing hardwood floors and electrical work -- all within a relatively short timeframe of around 5 weeks. I am so glad we found Linda as she helped us immensely in finding quality contractors for the work in a relatively short period of time. Being a new homeowner that part was very helpful.
She helped us choose appropriate paints, both color and quality grade and developed a vision around the house that was both practical and elegant, just what we were looking for. For carpet and hardwood, she connected us with wholesale providers where we could browse and choose the type of carpet and wood that would fit our taste and budget. She also helped us with layout for our family room and office in terms of furniture and lighting.
The best part is her personality that is so calm and composed, while managing so many moving parts with scheduling, delivery and managing the installation work. She was in constant communication with us and that took a lot of stress out during this big move.
We would definitely work with her again as we plan for other projects around the house.

Linda guided me through a kitchen, family room, and entryway remodel. I found the task overwhelming and challenging on my own. When Linda stepped in, her calm organized manner gave me confidence to go ahead with the project and take it one step at a time. The recommended craftsmen who work with her were extremely careful and put a lot of effort into the job. They too, were efficiently organized down to the days in which each group would have their time at the kitchen. The new kitchen, family room and entryway are far better than I ever imagined. I am always a little intimidated by designers--I expect them to regard my ideas as amateurish. Linda was the opposite--she seemed to understand right away what kind of help I needed, and how important color was to me. She never tried to sell me anything, followed through on arrangements and treated me as if i were a million-dollar client. I wish I could use her again!

Linda drove out to meet my wife and I in a house that we had just purchased. She spent roughly 3 hours for us and helped pick out every paint color for our walls.
This saved us easily 100+ hours because my wife and I would have never been able to match the colors as she did. I was very impressed.

We recently moved here from Washington State. We sorely needed a new kitchen and Linda Navara was recommended by our realtor.

Linda designed our kitchen/dining room remodel. She advised us and helped us shop for new cabinets, new flooring, paint, and appliances. She was respectful of our budget. She shopped with when we asked and let us on our own if we wanted. She was very available whenever we had questions or concerns. She responded quickly and professionally. She was very kind and easy to work with.

I hired Linda to help with paint color selection in a few rooms of my home. I showed her a few things that were a must stay and off we went. She quickly went to a palate I liked and large samples were held up on the walls at various locations until it all just worked. I won't even have time to paint the walls for another couple of weeks, but it doesn't matter the process was stress free. I am confident that it will work and equally confident I can call her back if a problem arises.

Linda, from LMR Designs helped us remodel our kitchen. Since it is a small kitchen, we needed to create extra space anywhere that we could. LInda helped us find extra space by extending our cabinets up to the ceiling, eliminating the soffits and also helping us to find little extra spaces that made a big difference to us, such as a toe kick drawer, spice cabinet, message center and one corner cabinet where we added a glass door and it seems to make the room look a little bigger. We took Linda's advice and added a microwave above the stove which freed up my small counter area. She helped us choose cabinets, quartz countertops, faucet, sink, hardware, lighting and backsplash. Every step of the way LInda offered suggestions and advice and was extremely patient while we asked all of our questions and made our decisions. Linda listened to our ideas and our wish list for what we wanted and worked very hard to incorporate those ideas into our new kitchen. LInda also suggested the built in cabinet around the refrigerator and at first we didn’t think we would like it. However, we followed Linda’s advice and it is actually one of our favorite parts of the kitchen because it adds a “custom” look to it. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and love everything about it!

Linda Navara at LMR Designs, LLC was our designer and worked with us on innumerable aspects of our new home. Her professionalism can be reflected in such details as furniture design, construction, coloration and placement. Details in wall colors, art work selection and placement were also influenced by Linda. Drapery design, brand, and color were a challenge when we attempted to go it on our own. Linda stepped in and solved those problems and even helped us find a motorized system to automatically open the drapes remotely. Important to my wife and myself is that Linda was available when needed and also provided "Her People" who completely followed up on the details. It is an honor to write this note.

I have worked with Linda Navara on a remodel project for my living room and powder room. Linda was a great listener and provided the kind of patient service required for my project. She was always professional, provide insights to design theory and stayed on budget. Whether you want a small or large project, Linda is the perfect designer.

Linda has a great eye for color. I have a bathroom in desperate need of an update. Linda came and helped me choose paint colors, tile, and flooring. She also helped me to choose window treatments when I was finally able to get rid of the dreaded "mini-blinds". The new window treatments look awesome. She is able to explain her thinking in a way that we novices can understand. The bathroom is not done yet, but I'm sure it will be a great improvement.

When my husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen we knew immediately who to call. We called Linda from LMR Designs, LLC. Two years ago Linda helped us remodel our downstairs family room, and we were so pleased with our results that we knew we could trust her for our dream job, a new kitchen. Linda listens to her clients, and guides them seamlessly through the renovation process while staying within their budget. One of Linda's greatest strengths is her ability to work well with others. We used all "her"recommended tradesmen for our projects. The communication between the team of professionals, led by Linda and "her" contractor, Ray, was without a doubt the most efficient team ever assembled! Linda Navara is a talented designer who respects her client's visions, but also knows how to gently nudge them out of their comfort zone. And the results.... wow!

Linda helped me with two projects. One was decorating my husbands office at work. He wanted a very professional look and that is what Linda was able to do for him. He says he is still getting compliments on it.
Also had Linda help us redo our curtains in the living room. Love the much updated look and friends have commented that it really looks nice.
I would highly recommend Linda for any remodeling ideas. She is very efficient and timely.

Remodel and redesign of kitchen, just what we wanted. Used contractors and materials recommended by Linda. It's just what we wanted. We can have more than one person work on the counters, which is a joy. Pantry changed out completely and refrigerator in a much better location. Cabinets designed perfectly.

We hired LMR Designs to help design our master bed and bathroom. Linda helped make our project a tremendous success! We love our new rooms and they look beautiful. Linda helped us choose colors, the vanity, the vanity top, the fixtures, the furniture, etc., etc. She helped us every step of the way and provided great feedback to help us with a room that not only looks great, but fits well with our tastes.
I highly recommend LMR Designs.
By the way we have used LMR for other projects and will continue to do so in the future.

Linda is excellent at what she does! Her insight and ability to convey her ideas in a way people can understand is great. I would recommend her for any project of any size. Looking forward to completing a 3rd job with her at this moment.

We love working with Linda, she helped us with the color strategy for our home and also with the design of my company's new office space. Nearly everyone who visits complements us on the colors, she really has an eye for making spaces appear warmer and larger through the use of color.

Linda from LMR Designs was called to my home to help with a wall in my kitchen. We were thinking of a mural but couldn't come up with anything on our own. Linda had some ideas and brought in her artist who made a sketch that we fell in love with. When the artist started working on the wall, we tweaked things here and there and worked together as if we were always on the same page. The wall came out even better than we had imagined. I would recommend her work to anyone, even if you think you have a good eye for things.

LMR Designs decorated my front yard for Christmas. Linda made the process very simple and easy for me. It was great to come home and see all the lights and decorations.

Linda is a pleasure to work with. We are updating our whole home so it is currently in progress. She is helping out with everything [paint colors, carpeting, lighting, bathrooms, etc.] and I can't wait until it is all complete. I will post pictures once it is done. One of the things I like best about her is that she listens to you and helps with "the look" you are trying to achieve!!

Linda is great - she listens to what I want and always finds things that I would never have found on my own. She uses an iPad for her designs which is nice because you can visually see what the rooms will look like before you make any changes. I've worked with Linda on a few occasions and I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again. She is great at picking out paint colors and I still get compliments to this day for the colors we chose and how well they transition from one room to the other.

Linda is a true professional that can quickly determine your style,even when you aren't sure what it is!
I worked with her to redo my daughter's bedroom. She took the effort to sit with both of them and listen to their ideas. She is smart with the budget and very creative with her design.
I work full time and didn't want to spend my weekends away from the kids in shops and showrooms and thanks to Linda I didn't! I'm not good with a lot of choices, so she helped me choose and did online shopping as well. It made the project must more manageable and still gave us an excellent design!
I would highly recommend Linda's work.

Selling my old family home, let my ex-wife paint the walls a dark blue color in living room, dining room. Linda recommended Benjamin Moore Aura to cover it. Easy and even though recommended two coats, didn't need it. (We're ones to follow directions, so second coat put on.) Large room so thought we needed more paint, didn't listen. We painted the two rooms, the foyer, and up the stairs. Still have paint left. Since it's a neutral color we'll use in new home. She knows her business.

Linda is a creative and thoughtful designer! Her ideas and designs have an amazing attention to detail. She's done cute, age-appropriate yet still cool kids rooms, elegant and tasteful rooms throughout the home, and even gorgeous table displays for special events. She is an active participant with her chamber of commerce and has a lot of great connections she works with to help make your room perfect! I would highly recommend her for your next project!

Linda has redone my whole house from flooring to tile and paint. The great thing about Linda is that she listens to your wants and needs and then comes up with the ideas. I've had many friends come in and remark on how great the transformation is.
I would highly recommend to anybody and everybody.

I redid most of the kitchen with new appliances, flooring, and colors. Also, changed the master bedroom with new colors, bedding, window treatments, lighting/lamps, and paint. Also, the hallway leading from the kitchen down through to the bedrooms. I had specialty painting for the hallway with a mural at the end and in the master bedroom - a color wash with gold fleck leaves splashed in various corners. Picking the paints and the scheme went very smoothly and was a huge success. For the bedding - I had been looking for over 2 years - and this was found very quickly and looks great. I am thoroughly satisfied and love the look. When the light reflects in the bedroom - the new paint job really shines! I need now to finish this project off with the hall bathroom to get redone and new countertops, tile in the kitchen. I will call upon this company when that time comes.

I had an excellent experience with LMR Designs. I trusted Linda completely with her design and color recommendations and everything came out better than I could have imagined. I was so pleased with the first project that Linda did for me that she subsequently picked out paint colors for every room in my house and re-designed my living room. I highly recommend Linda. She's professional in every sense of the word.
