M&M Professional Landscaping

Trent and his crews are unbelievable! Our first bid came from M&M, and then we spent several months acquiring 8 or 9 bids from other competitors. Out of everyone, M&M without a doubt was our top pick, not just because Trent's proposed renderings were landscape/hardscape art, but because M&M is a one stop shop. Instead of dealing with multiple contractors (who might point fingers and blame one another when issues arise during the course of a big project), M&M managed it ALL in house. They demo'ed our old deck, created a GORGEOUS paver patio, solved our water drainage issues, installed lighting, AND landscaped our entire backyard - including transplanting mature plants from the center of the yard to create a larger play area for our children. All of this was done in 10 work days from start to finish! Furthermore, they work they promised was DELIVERED. We had a lot of anxiety that it would look like the drawings we were shown, but to be honest, the finished product looks even better than the initial proposal! We were flabbergasted! And, at the end of the project, Trent even hired someone to come out and power wash the sides of our house, the new patio, and our entire driveway! All of our neighbors said they had never seen a company do what they did. We are so pleased and know that we will enjoy our back yard for the rest of our lives. We are so grateful and just LOVE M&M!

M&M did an outstanding job repairing our house and landscaping and renovating our backyard after a neighbors tree fell on our property. We highly recommend M&M!

M&M planted nine 12ft trees along the back and side of our property. They also put in a 75ft dry creek bed. The work was in December of 2019 and took three very full day to complete. the resources the company put on our job were just amazing. I only wish I would have done it sooner. Trent and his professional team were jest great! Would contract again.

I highly recommend M&M Landscaping. They provide excellent customer service. I hired them to create some gardens in my front yard in the Fall of 2019 and to rearrange some backyard gardens in Feb 2020. They installed pavers to allow easy access to the gardens. They also installed a sprinkler system in the front yard. The teams they sent both times were very hard-working, professional and friendly. I plan to have them help me maintain my gardens.

M&M was contracted to replace our wooden deck with composite materials, add a stone landing and step, and framed the deck with river rocks. The job was completed very efficiently and the workers were very informative and helpful. Have Highly recommended M&M to neighbors and friends.

My backyard was an uninhabitable wasteland. Seriously, it was a mess. I wanted to find a single company that could turn our space into a dream backyard. And I found it in M&M. Trent has an incredible vision and his various crews were thorough, responsive and hardworking. I could not be more happy with the results. My family loves our beautiful deck, sports court, flag stone patio, stone steps and landscaped yard. If you need an outdoor project (big or small) look no further than M&M.

Had concrete patio extended and flagstoned. M&M price was more than fair and the crew of four, who obviously had worked together for sometime and knew exactly what they were doing, were extremely professional and performed with well-oiled precision. We were so happy with the effort, we decided to have M&M do some creative landscaping in a rather confined area. Once again the specialized landscaping crew (different from the concrete guys) did a magnificent job planting trees and shrubs and also installed a well-designed flagstone walkway through the newly planted garden. We don’t think you can go wrong hiring this local Northern Virginia company for building your patio and/or handling any of your landscaping needs! We’d use them again in a heartbeat!

They put in a patio, waterproofed the deck, retaining wall, plants and trees. They also did a great job on the landscaping. They did a great job! We had a huge project and everything looks great!

Watch Out... Their work looks great, but it doesn't last. They completed a $25K project for me back in March of 2008. Included was a $5700 fire pit. I went with them even though they were more expensive because they offered a ten year guaranty on their work. After about two years, the mortar began to crack and separate and eventually led to huge cracks all around. The cracks were not just in the mortar, but went all the way through the foundation of the fire pit. It took an enormous amount of effort on my part to have them return to attempt to repair the areas. They filled in the cracks with more mortar and it looked better... However, after about 2 more years, it happened again, only worse. AGAIN it was quite the challenge getting them to come back out. (numerous emails, phone calls etc). They finally returned in June of 2014 to replace the pit. At that point, it was a crumbling mess... Within three years fire pit did the exact same thing. It began to completely separate in four areas. Again, the company did not respond to my emails and calls. My fire pit was STILL UNDER WARRANTY This year, I finally hired another company come out and replace the fire pit and they found all sorts of concerns about the construction including the absence of any type of metal re-enforcements. The stone easily popped off indicating some problem with the mortar and the cinder block holes were empty allowing for expansion... Please do not hire this company...

I hired this company last year for an install in July. Scheduling the installation was a convoluted mess trying to get them to work around my busy schedule. We finally got the plants and trees installed at the end of August. The installation went fairly well, despite the fact that one of the trees was obviously ailing. The subsequent death of that tree and another tree led to one of the most frustrating periods of my life. They did not return calls and only responded to threats. When they did actually show up in April of 2016 to inspect the dead tress, they promised to be back the following week, but it is now over a month later and I have had no satisfaction. (I will concede that the month of May was excessively rainy and that the scheduling was more than likely affected, but no one called me to apologize or reschedule!) They just don't answer their phone anymore it seems. I even had my mother call and they gave her the same run around. I am telling everyone I know that these people are a nightmare and should be avoided at all costs. Two very dead trees in my yard (visible from the street) and I can't get any satisfaction from these people.

I contracted with M & M landscaping to cover my existing walkway in the front of my carriage home with mortared slate and Katie Campbell came right out to discuss the project and offer expert assistance on the job. The work was done in a very professional manner and we were entirely satisfied with the results. The work was done right the first time and the crew worked hard and well to accomplish the project very quickly. I most highly recommend their services to anyone who wishes to improve the outside appearance of their home. M&M is a truly dependable and first rate company that fully honors their commitments and makes sure that the customer is fully satisfied at the end of their work. In my opinion, they are highly deserving of their 5 star rating.

M&M Landscapes did a few projects for us including plantings, a new walkway, and lighting. We are so pleased with our beautiful front yard!
