Outstanding! I want to share our fantastic experience with Meise Design Group - Landscape Construction! After nearly 20 years of having a neglected backyard that was large with an oddly shaped pool put in by the previous owners, Meise worked magic and turned it into a beautiful outdoor oasis that we look forward to enjoying every day! I've attached photos of the completed backyard design as well as 1 photo of the backyard 'before' its transformation. To say we were WOWED is an understatement. Andrew created a design that was both beautiful and more amazing than we could imagine, extending our patio deck around the pool so that it was useable space, creating a fun mini-golf putting green in part of our yard, and even a small meditation area at the side of our house! From providing guidance when we had ideas to incorporate into the design, to making choices between travertine vs. pavers, to creating an artistic landscape with plants that will mature with beauty, we were impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail in their work. The final cost was in line with the estimate provided and there were no hidden fees. The whole experience was professional and we felt very confident the entire time working with them. Meise’s team of workers were hard working and were on task daily so the project was completed on schedule and they made sure to clean up any construction debris at the end. Andrew and Eddie both came to do a final walkthrough to explain about maintenance and answer any questions we had. We couldn’t be happier and are thrilled with our backyard transformation - we now love being outside! We highly recommend Meise Design Group to anyone in need of landscape design. Working with Meise Design Group was an extremely positive experience. They went above and beyond helping us realize our vision for our outdoor space. MDG was responsive and flexible from our initial contact all the way through to the completion of the project. I appreciated the itemized pricing in their proposal which made it easy to make decisions that aligned with our priorities and budget. We wanted a very specific feature that required some ‘out of the box’ problem solving to construct and they rose to the occasion and delivered an excellent final product. The quality of their workmanship is high and it is clear that the team takes pride in what they do. In addition to the expertise that they brought to the landscape design process, they completed our project on schedule and on budget. Five+ stars for MDG. We have contracted three times with this company for a variety of outdoor projects and have been 100% satisfied with every job. Prompt and polite communication, punctual workers, clean-up every day, and patience with our many questions. Even our dog loves everyone associated with MDG despite his outdoor space being disrupted for a bit. We are thankful for the care and concern on many levels from this company.

MDG does impeccable work -- start to finish. From the start, they come out and truly listen to your goals. From there, they are honest and up front with you about costs and capabilities. In the design process you get to see 3D diagrams of your project for opportunities to tweak, change, and visualize. That is coupled with a specifically inventoried cost ledger that, importantly, DOES NOT CHANGE unexpectedly during the life of the project. The workmanship is excellent. As my yard was being completed I was super impressed at the fine touches that I did even expect. Things like (1) totally hiding a previous ugly storm drain with a uniquely installed clandestine drain instead, (2) completely hiding all of the previous ugly pool caps and utility stuff related to the pool, (3) ensuring perfect aesthetics with full functionality. I was the "pain in the ass client" in the form of modifying my yard remodel by double as I watched the quality fo the working being performed. I added an outdoor sun structure with electric, TV amount, and fireplace at the last minute and they totally accommodated. Another thing that was refreshing compared to most contractors -- honest timelines and timetables. They started when they said they would start without weird work stoppages. Most of their work is done by MDG employees (versus subcontractors) so there is much of more of "do this project right before we move on" feel versus "get this piece done and get the check" vibe you might get from others. I would give 6 stars if that was an option.

We completed a major backyard renovation with MDG in July of last year and cannot say enough good things about working with them. From start to finish the entire process was completely seamless. Andrew and his crew were an absolute dream to work with. The entire team was professional, honest, hardworking, and detail oriented. Once our project commenced, the install crew was there every single day for the entire duration of the project. Upon completion, they ensured that everything was exactly as anticipated. They have even returned several times to address any issues that have come up over the course of the last year. MDG is truly exceptional!

All I can say is, wow! My wife and I found Meise Design Group online and from the first interaction all the way to the finished product we could not be happier with our experience. They are extremely talented with both their design and construction process. We worked primarily with Andrew and he was incredibly helpful with everything we needed including answering our many questions and making adjustments to the design. They were at the property every day from the start of construction until all the work was completed. It is refreshing to work with such a great company. We would highly recommend them and we will be using them again on future projects!

Meise Design Group is run by a family that invests and takes pride in everything they do, big or small. They actually leave no stone unturned. If you are looking for someone to help design and/or implement a landscaping project who will make sure everything is taken care of and do all the worrying or hard thinking for you this is the group you want to hire. They are the type of engineers and designers who build their projects to be functional, elegant, and sustainable. We worked with Andrew & Eddie primarily and they genuinely cared about how the project turned out and our happiness with their work as much as we did. This was a huge investment for us and we are thrilled with what we have now thanks to Meise Design Group. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Outstanding design-build landscape contractor. After researching several companies, we selected Meise Design Group (MGD) to do a complete makeover of our 1990s era backyard. Brothers Andrew and Ryan were great to work with throughout the design process. They listened to our input, developed design options, 3-D concept renderings, scaled drawings and provided detailed line-item cost estimates. They were very accommodating to work with to fine-tune the final design, finishes and budget to our satisfaction. Eddie oversaw the construction work which included all new irrigation system, lighting, retaining walls, hardscape, pool remodel, pergola and putting green. The quality of work and attention to detail is first class. The end result is a stunning resort style backyard that our family will enjoy for years to come. It was a pleasure to work with Andrew, Ryan, Eddie and their crew and we highly recommend MGD for your next landscaping project.

My husband and I would like to add to MDG’s enthusiastic reviews and accolades. We met with Andrew in May 2018, and our project began in early October and finished in early November. MDG was the 4th landscaping company that we met with, but even before meeting with them, they were our top choice. I am SO glad that we got to work with them because our project was big - entire remodel of front, back, including pool, and both side yards - and there was no way we would have trusted anyone else’s design ability, workmanship, and professionalism the way we did with MDG. Andrew’s top-notch creativity and designs allowed us to have a remodel we never imagined possible. We were specifically looking for a company with landscape architecture and design skills, and MDG was able to give us the remodel of our dreams. We met with Andrew and Ryan a total of three times--Andrew was always willing to meet to discuss ideas and to assure us, and Ryan was always so kind and patient with addressing all of our questions. I can't speak enough of MDG--these three brothers (Andrew, Eddie, and Ryan) and their team have our utmost gratitude and respect; not only are they talented and hard-working, they are kind, trustworthy people. They did everything they committed to AND MORE. We loved getting to know Eddie, who has our deepest respect--everyday, he showed up bright and early and not only gave very clear direction and guidance to the team, but he worked right alongside them. I can’t count the ways he went above and beyond for us, not just out of kindness, but also as a reflection of his commitment to tending to the finest detail, pride, and ownership for MDG’s work. Some examples include: trimming our existing palms (NOT a part of the work order), using zip ties to perfect the look of our string lights, and coming back on his own time to add some extra gravel to our NEIGHBOR’S front yard. By the time MDG wrapped up our project, they had been there for 1.5 months, and we truly felt sad saying good-bye to our new friends. Please, please consider MDG--you would be fortunate to have them tend to all of your landscaping needs with the deepest level of care, and if words aren’t enough, we hope our 2 before and 2 after photos speak for themselves.

We can sincerely and accurately state that Andrew and his team’s professionalism was only exceeded by the quality of their work. From the design-phase of our backyard to the finished product, we could not have been any happier or impressed with their work and the outcome. Not knowing a thing related to installing a backyard, Andrew always took the time to explain the entire process flow from beginning to end and answer any questions we had. A part of that response was his availability during off hours. He was always prompt to respond to a text or email from us when he wasn’t at our house – regardless of the day and/or time. It is critical to note that Andrew truly understood the investment we were making and knew the importance of “doing it right”. He never cut corners and ensured that the final product met our expectations. We can honestly say that it was money well invested. Whether entertaining guests or simply relaxing with the family, our backyard has become a source of pure enjoyment and pride. Several friends, and even a couple of strangers, have taken pictures of Andrew’s work to gather ideas for their backyards. We have made it a point to recommend Meise Design Group for their yards – be it the front, back, or both. What has also impressed us immensely is Andrew’s dedication to his work months after he and his team were done. Our backyard was completed in November and this May, he was back out to make sure there were no lingering issues. It’s probably sad to say, but Andrew is a “throw back” to how customers used to be treated. We always came first and he made sure that his quality of work ensured that our money was well spent.

We are thrilled with the design and install of our new backyard. The Meise Design Group did a fantastic job from the beginning design phase through the final installation. They were attentive to our suggestions and came up with a beautiful design we could not have imagined on our own. These fine brothers are smart, creative, reliable, hardworking, and enjoyable!
