Michelle Rolens and her team at Neil Kelly started by as-builting our whole house. Our remodel included a complete redesign of our kitchen with changes to our living, dining and bedroom. Michelle reviewed what we wanted to accomplish and made many wonderful recommendations. These recommendations included flooring replacement; resurface and painting of walls and ceilings; coordination with window, heating system and hot water heater replacement; on lighting; appliances; colors; surfaces; countertops; and cabinets. The project was completed on schedule and budget.

Michelle began my kitchen remodeling process by doing the design work. She is a very competent designer with great ideas and implementation. She's a lovely person and made the process fun. Michelle is very thorough and on top of things. She does her job extremely well. The entire remodel process was smooth and seamless. Even when a few existing "surprises" showed up, all was handled very competently. I love my new kitchen!

We have worked with Michelle for over 10 years. I recommend her to anyone that mentions the word remodel. Her attention to detail and ability to listen to your needs and execute them is excellent. We have done a whole house remove that included an addition, as well as lots of medium sized projects at our previous home. Even when an unexpected problem has come up, Michelle and the other people at Neil Kelly have worked quickly to help find the solution. They are an incredible company!

We have used the Neil Kelly Design/Build services numerous times; beginning in 1982, then again in 1987, then in 2004 to build our home, and again to provide some changes we wanted in 2013 and 2014. Michelle Rolens has been the consultant to us for a number of these services. We have found her to be very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions to improve our projects. She provides extra efforts to answer questions about materials and how the construction work will proceed. The estimates provided for the work services have been complete and accurate, with major changes to the work explained by change orders. Should we decide to make additional changes to our residence, we plan to utilize Michelle's skills and the resources available at Neil Kelly Design/Build.

I could not recommend Michelle Rolens more highly. She and her team at Neil Kelly lead our large home remodel and we couldn't be happier with the results. She is professional, knowledgeable and communicates easily. She was always the first to point out any small errors she saw in the process that we wouldn't have even noticed, demonstrating her honesty and professional integrity. Her sub-contractors were all professional and skilled craftsman who demonstrated artistry and care in their workmanship. We are confident that we chose the best team for the job, lead by Michelle.

I have worked with Michelle and her team over the past 20 years on several major remodeling projects for our home, including: a new kitchen, new bathrooms, a 1000 sq. ft. deck, a library, installation of new windows, doors, and hardwood floors. Michelle is a true gem in the design/remodel world. I noticed the very first time I worked with her that she quickly understood our ideas and came up with a project design that was perfect for us. That's why we keep going back to her. She is very easy to communicate with, and I can trust her to lay out a project so that there are no surprises. Michelle is very detailed with all aspects of a project from beginning to end. She keeps us informed of every detail from the initial design to material choices, overall time line, daily schedule and budget. She is extremely responsive, answering phone calls, emails, etc. right away. In a nutshell, Michelle is fantastic to work with, and I give her my highest recommendation.

We needed to update our kitchen. We couldn't come up with any acceptable design ideas but Michelle Rolens could. She was very accommodating to our schedule and worked quite efficiently to fit her services into our job time line. Our kitchen ended up with 2.5 times the counter space we previously had, and more than we thought was possible, and the flow that was created is fabulous. Michelle's design experience is invaluable and her way of explaining design issues was clear and to the point. All needs were met and the design schematics were perfectly drawn without any changes needing to be made as construction progressed. A few questions came up during construction and Michelle was available, and clarified the issues and answered all questions in a very timely fashion. Our experience with Michelle was nothing short of wonderful.

Michelle Rolens came to my house and we talked. I knew what I wanted and she drew up plans for a remodel of the master bath. Michelle was very intuitive and we were on the same page immediately. A wall came down and the room was gutted. All her ideas became a reality in a matter of months. I have a beautiful and fully functional master bath now. I am hiring her to do a powder room project next.

Michelle gave us a complete kitchen remodel bid including new appliances, within our price range. She helped us to make choices within our budget. After chatting with us , she "knew us" and helped us to pick out things to our liking. The project was done within the stated time frame. Every single subcontractor (eg floor, tile, paint, plumbing, etc) was a professional. My husband, a retired engineer was home through the entire project. He has very high standards and loved every aspect of the project. I give Michelle and Neil Kelly the highest rating!

Michelle has worked on several projects for us, from a small job up to a very large job. She has always understood exactly what i wanted to achieve in each remodel and has been mindful of any budget and time restrictions. I have found Michelle and her team to be extremely professional and they have made each project a great experience! I highly recommend her.

We hired Neil Kelly because of their reputation for being the best, and that is exactly what we got. Michelle Rolens took our few ideas, added her wonderful insight and visions thus producing our dream kitchen. My husband and I are in awe of her incredible talent. Michelle and her team are professional and knowledgable, and we would recommend them for any size project. Our project was a sizable buildout and the construction portion took about 5 months, we got to know Neil Kelly employees on our job quite well. It was a wonderful experience.

You will not be disappointed if you hire Michelle Rolens and her team at Neil Kelly for your projects. I have used them three times including a complete kitchen remodel, dormer and bathroom, and cabintry in a central hallway. The projects were completed on time, within budget and without worry to me. They are the consumate professionals, I now consider them friends and thank them for making a complicated process fun and enjoyable rather than a stress inducer. Their expertise and knowledge solved any construction challenges with ease. My next project will be a complete basement remodel!!

A commenté : Can I ask what material you have for the flooring?These are Lyptus (Eucalyptus) cabinets from Neil Kelly Company. However, Lyptus is extremely hard to source right now. We work with Crystal cabinets now to create our cabinet line. I hope that helps.

A commenté : What is the height of the ceiling?The ceilings in this kitchen are 9' high which helps with the overall look.

A commenté : Where did the rooster come from?We had a local custom mosaic make the rooster for us. She was through Pratt & Larson tile.
