Color is what brings the whole room or home together by delivering a true feeling of warmth. I specialize in kitchens and bathrooms helping clients with their home remodels; selecting color schemes, cabinetry, vanities, fixtures, tiles & flooring. Together, I work in collaboration with my clients and contractors to bring the entire home together for both functionality and visual appeal. In addition, I work with clients that are just in need of a color update for their space. Often times updating the color of a living space can change the entire feel of a room. I can help you achieve your goals by matching the mood and activity of the space with the appropriate color pallet. I got my start as a designer/merchandiser in apparel before switching to real estate and design. I found the transition between them seamless; it was a matter of materials and space. I’m passionate about design, color, pattern, print and textures. I'm drawn to interesting color combinations and find nature to be a strong influence. I love color and I’m not afraid of it. Michelle is amazing and we are always happy to recommend her to our friends and neighbors. Michelle listened to all our needs and found a way to bring both our taste together. She designed our kitchen, primary bathroom, guest bathroom in our family home and she is currently decorating our 2 bedroom income property and the transformation is better than we imagined!

I am so grateful to my contractor for recommending Michelle Mohlere. My husband wanted a farmhouse white kitchen, I wanted a modern black kitchen so Michelle put together several cabinet, granite and tile samples of what we wanted then a few of her own ideas and of course we fell in love with her idea. Michelle incorporated tones and materials to bring our kitchen, dining and living room cohesively together balancing color, light, texture and pattern to create a really beautiful space.

We hired Michelle to help us through a bathroom remodel. She is very organized with fee structure gave us a clear communication of project process. Michelle listened closely to our, design sense then, came up with solutions for cabinets, shelves where to put towel racks and art. At our meeting at the Tile store she gave us 3 options the very first one selection for shower, floor and grout was perfect as well as she turned us onto Nu-Heat (similar to radiant heat for the floor). We put ourselves completely into her hands and taste, and it paid off a better project because of hiring her. We highly recommend Michelle Mohlere for her organization, communication and, last but not least - great taste!

After starting and stopping my flooring project multiple times, before meeting Michelle, I had all but given up. Michelle was organized, easy to work with, easy to communicate with and she had so many resources and contacts that made this project run smoothly. Additionally, she also assisted me in choosing paint colors for inside and outside my home and neighbors have been complimenting me since the job was completed. I too am so happy to have an updated home and Michelle made that happen for me. Don't hesitate to give her a call and you'll see what I'm talking about from the first time you talk. Michelle is amazing. She helped to transform my dismal excuse of a kitchen into one that is worthy of a magazine layout. I still feel a quiver of excitement every time I walk in my kitchen, and am in disbelief that I have such a beautiful workspace. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen so it was crucial that it be optimally functional as well as beautiful, and Michelle helped to create a space that met both these goals. She made what could have been an overwhelming project into one that was exciting and fun, and was involved at every step of the process. I thoroughly enjoyed the many field trips to pick out appliances, tile, counters, flooring, and cabinets, etc. I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough. The decision we made to hire Michelle was the best one we made as she not only saved us money but helped to preserve our sanity.

I felt overwhelmed by the amount of professionals on Houzz, so I narrowed down my search by focusing on a color expert. I reached out to a Michelle and was contact s by her almost instantly. Michelle made a few suggestions via telephone and what I could prepare to help make our face to face meeting the most productive. Michelle was patient and professional during our phone conversation and it was obvious that she understood my vision. During our 2 hour consultation at the property, we were able to narrow down colors with the help of the seemingly unlimited color palettes that Michelle brought with her. My meeting with Michelle was the most informative and useful of all the meetings I have had at this new home. Even the seller’s agent approached me to ask if she could see what the house looked like after we completed the work. I look forward to working with Michelle again.

We hired Michelle to help us with the design side of the complete remodel of our home. This remodel included a new kitchen, bar and 3 bathrooms. Michelle's amazing attention to detail, incredible follow-through and exceptional organizational skills were key in keeping our project moving. She helped us with almost every aspect of the project including the selection of tile, grout, flooring, countertops, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, paint colors, rugs, furniture and accessories. I hired Michelle after I ended up picking out granite for my kitchen and bathroom countertops ...that I didn't like once they were installed. After that I didn't trust myself to make these costly decisions.... I felt overwhelmed. After looking through the directory on Houzz I chose Michell because I really liked the pictures of her work. I wish I would have worked with Michelle before I picked out the granite! She has helped me with ideas and color choices for the floors and walls in the kitchen and bathroom. Also with the wall color in my bedroom and the placement of the furniture in there. She also knows a lot about real estate and construction which has been helpful to me. Very professional, pleasant, easy and fun to work with.

Michelle had herself a challenge working with me. I'm lucky to be able to match socks. After sharing a few pictures of what I liked in a bathroom remodel she was able to put into words what I couldn't figure out myself.
