Nicola Manning Design is an experienced interior design practice offering all a full range of interior design services, from new builds, renovations, apartments, commercial building and sourcing beautiful interior products. Kitchen, Bathroom, Laundry and cabinetry design. We specialise in medium/large scale renovations and new builds. Nicola, Director and Lead Designer, is a qualified interior designer with professional membership of the Designers Institute of New Zealand (DINZ) and membership of the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA NZ). Nicola Manning Design was established in 2002. I believe your home is not just a financial asset, it should also be your haven. Whether you're building, renovating, downsizing or moving into a different size or style of property, I'll help you create beautiful and functional spaces that feel like home. We moved into our house many years ago, though it wasn’t until after the recent completion of an interior renovation designed and facilitated by Nicola Manning Ltd, that it has really felt like our personalised, fit-for-purpose home. Nicola provided us with an end-to-end, high-quality interior design and implementation solution, removing the surprises and guesswork and bringing our home design imaginations to reality. We are not home decorators or even into DIY in the slightest, though thankfully Nicola was able to transform our one-dimensional thoughts into a spacious, personal and aesthetically pleasing home for our family. Her level of communication was just right throughout. After working with us to create a detailed design and plan, she linked us with a group of trusted trades people and continued to support us through to completion of the project. Nicola nailed it! Our home is transformed, we are delighted with the results and would 100% recommend Nicola Manning Design to anyone embarking on a similar project.

There was nothing more daunting for my husband and I then the task of creating a internal environment for our newly built apartment. We had lived in an old house for over 45 years surrounded by furniture, curtains , bedspreads etc. in keeping with this much loved Californian bungalow. Now was the time to completely change direction; but how? Luckily for us we found Nicola's website and we could see from the information on the website that she was likely to be a good fit, and she was. Our experience of dealing with Nicola through all the processes and decision making tasks, has been wonderful and rewarding. She was able to understand our colour preferences, style choices, and guide us through our periods of indecision. She was able to gently and carefully make suggestions that we might not have agreed with initially but were in reality what should happen. Overall we have had a marvelous and unforgettable experience.

Working with Nicola Manning was a delight. She listened carefully to our aspirations for the house and came up with some clever, doable designs that fit with the era of the house. She also provided links to high-quality suppliers and tradespeople and this took the risk and guess work out of the project. We are so pleased with the result and she did it all for a very reasonable price. The home is now super welcoming and coordinated right through.

I never would have thought to work with an interior designer. My husband suggested it and boy am I glad we did! Nicola is amazing as you will see from the before and after's below. She has such vision and thinks outside the box, but also works in with your vision making the process a fun and high value one. Nicola is well connected in terms of tradies and she is very fussy with their work (which I love by the way) as the workmanship is just beautiful. We love our new home! Full paint, carpet through out - wardrobe systems, air conditioning and 3 sparkly designer bathrooms - and our black ensuite with the wet room......out of this world! Hire Nicola - she is amazing!

We worked with Nicola to undertake a full renovation of our home, including all bathrooms, kitchen, flooring and internal colours. Nicola was professional, provided great options after listening to our tastes and preference and also was a perfectionist when it came time to implement the project. We relied a lot of her suggestions for making the house interesting and pushing outside our comfort zone. Nicola was always prompt with her communication and always on hand when I needed even the smallest piece of advice when it came down to the final implementation of her design. We also worked with tradespeople who were recommended by Nicola who were also fastidious and professional. All went to plan and when we had any little glitches (as you will always expect with any project of this size) they were fast to resolve and progress. I would not hesitate to recommend Nicola and Katherine and would happily work with NM Design again in the future.

Nicola Manning Design Limited completed a total makeover of two of our apartments. Nicola was surrounded by a very select group of highly qualified people and trades who were able to satisfactory implement her interior designs. Nothing was a problem, always keen to maintain contact and attend to every enquiry with a positive response and outcome. Nicola listened to our brief so successfully that she only had to provided a couple of options which were spot on in terms of what we were looking for. Although we had some idea of what we wanted in the new designs, it turned out that Nicola Manning Design had the experience and talent to exceed our expectations.
