Steve and his team did a great job in transforming our kitchen diner by carrying out ground floor rear extension of our house brilliantly. We are delighted with our single-storey kitchen / family room / ensuite guest room extension by Origin Construction. The work is extremely high quality and is often remarked upon by friends, neighbours and passersby. Project: Design & build single storey extension & ground floor refurbishment - Epsom, Surrey. Origin Construction/Stephen Weare was contracted to undertake the design & build of our single storey extension and our ground floor refurbishment, which included the installation of our new kitchen. Right from the outset Stephen provided an excellent service, from initially suggesting ideas to incorporate into the design and by helping us source the kitchen, flooring and other materials through his extensive network of contacts. When using any builder, no matter how small the job, good two-way communication is key, here Stephen excelled, always keeping us informed through each stage of the build and always on hand to answer any questions or queries we had. As with any major building works there will always be challenges along the way, however Stephen would always come up with an appropriate cost-effective solution to overcome any problems, overall he is a great problem solver. On costings, during the course of the build, we always knew exactly where we were budget wise, and every invoice received was fully itemised and referenced back to the original quote, with any major extras being agreed upfront. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of the build. Every member of Stephen’s team was polite, courteous, tidy and importantly, experienced and skilled in their trade. Stephen has delivered exactly the look and feel we wanted for our extension. He clearly takes pride in his work and goes about it as if it was his own home he was renovating. Without hesitation we would highly recommend Origin Construction/Stephen and his team to friends, colleagues and others who are thinking about undertaking some building works, and I have no doubt we will be using him again on future projects. Excellent work by Steave Weare and his team. I was luckily introduced to him by a friend. They undertook a very successful complete refurbishment including rewiring, plumbing, installing a new gas system, decorating (new kitchen, new shower room). The flat was in a very poor state when I bought it. And I was actually worried by the amount of work needed. But the result was amazing. Delighted by the professionalism and the commitment of the team, they finished in promised time. And Steve Weare had a clear understanding of my style/taste of decoration, which I found impressive. Their work is clean, tidy and meticulous. Also they are very helpful and kind. Overall, they’ve done a fantastic job. I would certainly recommend them.

Steve was introduced to us by another contractor who wasn't able to execute our project due to its complexities. Steve was very open, honest and helpful from the start, and negotiated a number of very intricate and difficult issues, which threatened our development, with professionalism and proactivity. We asked Steve to do a full renovation of our new flat, including plumbing, rewiring, decorating, building of made to measure cupboards and fitting of new bathrooms. Steve was committed to provide us with our dream home and was heavily involved in each aspect of the project which made us feel like he cared as much as we did about our home. We appreciated in particular his enthusiasm and hands-on approach as well as his decisiveness when it came to resolve unexpected technical issues which allowed the renovation to go as smoothly as possible. It was a big project and we had some very specific requirements but Steve was very hard working and made sure his team was on board at all times. At the end of the renovation, we were very happy with our new home. It has been five years now since our flat was renovated and today, it still looks beautiful.

Built rear extension including kitchen and utility room, downstairs wc, remodelled bathroom and toilet and redesigned garden. A professional job throughout. Steve and team were excellent. Courteous and punctual, friendly and trustworthy. Offered good advice throughout project on all aspects of design and was able to recommend suppliers to source items. Steve and his team at Origin Construction took on a complete refurbishment of our 1930s house and completed it on time and on budget. This included a total re-wire, new central heating, strip and re-decorate, plastering, building a 4.5m extension complete with new kitchen, extending our front room, a family bathroom and an en-suite double loft conversion. All of this in 14 weeks as promised!! It was a big project which coincided with the birth of our second baby. Despite this, the project caused us very little stress as he managed every aspect of the build. Steve is very knowledgable and always available to discuss and assist with the design process. We are very happy with our home and would not hesitate to recommend Steve.
