Having been through the home building process once before we knew what we were looking for in a builder. A company who would build a home they were confident in, would be receptive to our ideas and concerns as well as keeping within a budget and time frame. Pinemar was all of this and more. Kyle Lissack (builder) and Mike Castiglione (foreman) are exceptional to work with. I was very involved in our project from "start to finish" and I truly appreciated their thoroughness to detail. Over the course of the two year project Kyle, Mike and myself met weekly along with the subcontractors. This collaboration allowed for a smooth building process. There was never something that we were left in the dark to figure out on our own. We have been in our home for almost 3 years now and if I have a question or concern I pick up the phone or send an email and their response is immediate. Our experience with Pinemar and their subs has been outstanding. Everyone that worked on our home was talented in their particular trade and pleasant. We highly recommend Pinemar and would be happy to tell others of our wonderful experience.

We had an outstanding experience with Pinemar, Inc. They did an extensive renovation on an old stone house for us that involved virtually every aspect of the house and grounds, including a new roof and gutters, masonry repairs, a complete kitchen renovation, an addition to the house, upgraded electrical/plumbing/HVAC, all new bathrooms, paint/wallpaper, French drains/storm-water management, new stone patio, etc. They were knowledgeable, responsive, conscientious (especially to our neighbors), and best of all, they communicated well throughout the project - even after it was complete to make sure all punch list items were addressed quickly. I have since recommended Pinemar to a relative, who recently hired them for a renovation and had an equally-positive experience. I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was. I will never consider another builder.

I cannot say enough about Kyle and the team at Pinemar. They are simply the best I have ever worked with. I recently renovated a 6000 square foot brownstone in Center City Philadelphia. It was a complete gut job. And it took extreme creativity to create the house I wanted. From installing a new elevator, to unforeseen foundational and structural work, to installing an endless pool in a basement, to finding the right carpenter to remake historic folding shutters, Pinemar did everything perfectly. The finishes are extraordinary. And the subcontractors were professional and courteous. They managed to do extreme work in a really tight space, and the neighbors all said it was the best experience they have ever had with a renovation. Throughout the process, Kyle kept me up to date on everything going on. The site supervisor, Mike, was extraordinary in his problem solving and dedication. And when movers scratched some of the paint, Pinemar was back the next day to repair. I will never use anyone else.

We completely remodeled our kitchen and adjacent nook/study area a few years ago. We chose Pinemar from among several bidders to do the work, largely because Kyle presented a clear and detailed explanation of the process, timetable and costs accompanied by an impressive portfolio of prior jobs. We were initially apprehensive, this being our first major home renovation project, but our concerns were soon allayed when work started on schedule and progressed smoothly. The many crews and subcontractors involved were courteous and professional. Their efforts were well supervised and coordinated and their work regularly inspected by Kyle or his associate. He communicated with us regularly, so we were informed about progress and next steps. At one point, a serious unanticipated problem arose from a previously undetected fault in the initial construction of our house, which (very unfortunately) was not built by Pinemar. Company staff rapidly developed and efficiently implemented a definitive fix for the problem, which allowed renovation work to soon continue and finish almost on schedule. Disruption of our lives and routines by construction work was kept at a minimum and greatly reduced by efficient execution of our project. In the end, we were so much more than compensated by the spectacular outcome of the renovation. We cannot overstate Pinemar’s excellent workmanship and attention to detail, which produced a most beautiful and functional new space that exceeded our expectations and has been admired repeatedly by family and friends. Now five years on, we continue to appreciate and enjoy the result of Pinemar’s renovation and can state truthfully that we’ve not seen, even with 20/20 hindsight, any issues with their work. We would consult them on our future remodeling projects and recommend them to others without hesitation or reservation.

We were very happy with Pinemar . We had a complete Basement renovation . Everything had to be gutted , then rebuilt to make a playroom for our 3 children. Kyle was very professional , attentive and kept the project on budget . We look forward to using Pinemar again in the future .

We have used Pinemar for two additions to our home and could not have taken on these projects without them. For both projects, we received detailed quotes and really understood the pricing of our projects. The work was completed on time and on budget. We lived in our house for both projects and the team kept our house dust free and very clean. They also went out of their way to work around us (dog, cat and 2 children) and made the construction as easy on us as possible. My questions and concerns were always answered quickly. The work and people are of the highest quality with great attention to detail. I really felt liked we worked together as a team and were in communication on each step of the projects. We recently completed a total renovation of a 4300 square foot house. Time constraints restricted us from bidding multiple contractors and being new to the area, we took a friends recommendation to work with Pinemar. Before we purchased the property, Kyle toured multiple listings with us and provided key critical advice that was extremely valuable in deciding which property to purchase. With personal experience in construction and aware of how tenuous a friend's recommendation can be, we proceeded with Pinemar. We never regretted the decision. Kyle guided us as a key member of the design team and provided value engineering options for a project that kept growing due to existing conditions. During the construction phase the Pinemar team was easy to work with, knowledgeable and accepted nothing less than the highest of standards. After we moved in the momentum continued until all the punch list items were completed. It is clear Kyle and his team are driven by a desire to provide their customers with not only a beautiful home, but a wonderful experience. Many talk about the horrors of a home building project, but ours was the complete opposite. We can't imagine using any other builder!

Pinemar's attention to detail is unparalleled. The craftsmanship that went into building our barn is unlike anything I have seen. The team that they assembled came with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Not only were they experts in their field, but true artists. It was obvious that they all took pride in perfection and beautiful results. Each floor board, each piece of trim and each stone was put in with architectural integrity in mind. Every contractor who stepped foot on the worksite respected Pinemar's high standards. Pinemar's communication, not only with us, but also with our architects, kept the job running smoothly throughout the entire project. Pinemar went above and beyond our expectations. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We can't imagine ever using anyone else.
