During our initial discussion with Sheeja, we talked about how we wanted to blend contemporary and traditional elements into the design. Coming up with an interior design for 5+ rooms and the outdoor spaces was quite daunting with an overwhelming number of choices involved. Thankfully Sheeja and her team guided us through every step of the whole process. Every room feels like a work of art, striking the perfect balance between classic charm and modern elegance. Working with Sheeja - We recently completed our home remodel project. We chose Rashi Design(Sheeja) as our interior designer after reviewing/interviewing many interior designers. Sheeja was very professional and understood our requirements very clearly. My name is Danny Hernandez and I am a tile contractor/stone fabricator. I just purchased a new home and needed some help with cabinets, paint and finishes. I turned to Sheeja at Raashi Design for help. I selected her because of how approachable she is. She really digs deep to know her customers wants. She came out to my house with her team, took pictures and measurements. In the time promised I had drawing’s for approval. As a contractor I was able to stick to the drawings and complete my job in short order. The paint colors selected for the walls worked out great, better than expected. My wife and I love Sheeja! From start to finish, Sheeja did an amazing job with our remodel. With our busy schedules and limited time, the last thing we wanted, or felt capable of doing, was to spend our free time trying to manage a remodel project ourselves. Our plan was to remodel our family bathroom with minimal changes given that we were under a tight timeline and budget. However, not happy with the design options we got locally, we decided to cross the Atlantic and try Raashi Design based on a referral. After going through the existing layout and plans to date, Sheeja gave us design options, one which removed a heater and freed up more space, while the other was more congruent to our original wish of quick and simple. We went with the first design when Sheeja convinced us that it would be worth the wait doing something which took time and had the right design and functional elements in it. All this was done remotely, be it suggesting colour combinations for the tiling or the storage options. Sheeja painstakingly looked at our local UK suppliers and recommended the paint, tiling, bathroom fittings etc. to the product code level and all our contractor had to do was the implementation. The results? Fabulous. No one believes that this was all designed by someone in US, to the n-th detail. We are extremely happy with the overall look and feel of our family bathroom and are waiting for our next big extension project to get in touch with Sheeja.

We were introduced to Sheeja and Raashi Design through our contractor and how fortunate for us! Sheeja got right to work to get to know us and our preferences. She hit a home run in designing our new kitchen and understood what we needed, even when we weren't sure ourselves. She just got us. From choosing fixtures to paint colors, Sheeja was meticulous in developing a cohesive, functional design but the final kitchen is also absolutely stunning! Sheeja did an excellent job decorating our interior space. She worked patiently with my wife and I (who are creatively challenged) to explain the process, tease out what we like and don't like. She came up with a proposal for the design, and refactored the design based on our feedback. Sheeja also brought in her trusted partners in painting, paneling, cabinetry, electrical and other skills to prep the interior. Due to Covid supply chain disruptions, the furnishings took a while to receive which is understandable. Our family is super happy about how everything turned out, something that we could have never imagined doing it all by ourselves. We are looking forward to inviting friends and family to our place to show off and entertain. :)

We recently completed a major remodeling project of our kitchen & living space with Sheeja's help and we couldn't be more pleased with the result! This project was long overdue but both of us being busy at work and with 2 young kids, it just seemed like an impossible task to take on. My wife being an artist and a creative person herself, there were some very specific things we were looking to achieve with this space where we spend so much time together as a family. When my wife and I began looking at remodeling our kitchen we felt overwhelmed. Between working and raising kids, we already felt too busy to take on such a big project. On top of that my wife had a zillion ideas (thanks Pintrest) and I had a hard time imagining how things would all come together. Now we have a wonderful kitchen, and have since moved on to more remodel work in the house (floors, windows, and lots of paint) with Sheeja's assistance. I was planning a home improvement project including flooring, paints, and lights. I had no prior experience with home improvement projects. I was looking for an interior designer who can guide us through the process and doesn't cost me a fortune. I got to know about Raashi Design through google and Houzz reviews. We have chosen luxury vinyl plank and she reviewed several vinyl plank flooring offerings and finalized the wide planks that gave modern look. Sheeja helped me with a kitchen and family room refresh. We have lived in our home for 20 years and our home needs a refresh. Being home bound during the shelter in place brought this project to the top of our priority list. I was not able to change my layout but needed assistance choosing paint colors, back splash tile and flooring as well as Exterior paint and fence stain colors. I wanted to choose colors that were timeless yet modern. Sheeja came to my home wearing a mask and helped me come up with a plan for my home refresh. I love her ideas and suggestions. I wish I could give Sheeja more than five stars! She was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire bathroom remodel that we just completed. She understood what I liked and didn’t like very quickly and came up with a beautiful design. She helped me with all the many choices of tile and materials and did all the purchasing. She put me in touch with the cabinet makers, stone crafter and general contractor all of whom did great work. Then she was there at every step during the construction when questions arose. As a novice remodeler I had no knowledge about the process and Sheeja guided me through it so expertly that it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Hiring her was the smartest money I could have spent on the project. And I just love my new bathroom!

This review's been long overdue, I would say about 6 months as we completed our project in February. I guess we were so busy enjoying our lovely home that Raashi Design helped create! We moved into our house in 2013 and since then had always wanted to update it - the color, furniture, artwork, drapery, the whole 9. But, given we're both working parents with a young child we never really found the time - to take our vision and really piece everything together. It does take a lot of time. That's when we decided to approach a few designers and talk to them about their process, review their past work and see if we could get comfortable having a professional 'take it over'. We chose Raashi design (best decision ever) as we liked the approach. Sheeja took a lot of time understanding our needs, taste palette, budget and through iterations came up with the design that we fell in love with. At that point, we had the option of taking the design (and pay just for consulting services - in which case execution is on us) or go full service. I am SO glad that we chose full-service. The amount of effort that goes into coordinating the various service providers, purchasing, inspecting, etc. is enormous. As an example, we have natural grass wallpaper in our entrance and that seemingly simple undertaking required close coordination between the person who smoothened the wall, the painter, the carpenter for the trim and the person applying the grass wallpaper! That's just one example, there are many more where I felt the full-service approach is the best route to go unless of course, you had ample time in your hands. This approach let us get involved in the fun parts of the project while leaving the mundane details in the hands of the expert. Also, another important aspect is she brings in the professionals from her network - people she has dealt with in the past and because these professionals rely on continued business from Raashi, they take the extra effort to ensure a high level of quality in their jobs. Our project lasted for about 3-4 months and every step of the way Sheeja was a thorough professional and very pleasurable to work with. We love our space and couldn't have been happier! We were looking for someone to decorate our family room for lack of time and ideas and after interviewing a few designers we are so glad we settled on Raashi Designs. Sheeja was such a pleasure to work with and clearly understood all out design wishes and inspirations. Over the course of our many meetings, things became so clear and we could not wait to see the final room. And yes we were and are very happy with each and every piece of the project. We hired Sheeja of Raashi Design to help us with our new home while under construction. We hired Sheeja with Raashi Design to design our dream kitchen. She designed our layout taking out the wall between our kitchen and dining/living room to make it an open concept. She also opened up the room by moving the french doors to create more kitchen space. The large island gives us extra work surfaces and storage. It also provides perfect seating for our family. Sheeja was very easy to work with and was extremely creative. As you can image there are thousands of decisions to make and she helped us decide the color scheme and style based on our lifestyle. I hired Sheeja to help me renovate my new office. As a graphic designer, I have a pretty good idea of what I want. When I moved in, I had amazing plans for how I wanted to decorate my office but reality set in when all my ideas were quoted in the thousands of dollars. I met with Sheeja to help me customize my office to suit our style in a realistic budget that I could manage. Sheeja's first recommendation was to reorganize the space to improve the flow of traffic and overall atmosphere of the office. She designed several layout options, which not only made the office more welcoming, it made me more accessible to my team and it was more efficient, creating more space for another desk and a couch (I've been dreaming about having a couch in my office for years!). An awkwardly shaped office limits us in space, as well as limited electrical outlets on the wall. Sheeja came up with a way to maximize the space for a mini kitchenette and conference area while still having an open conference area where we can meet with clients. She also has the connections to recommend trusted service partners for electrical, construction or handyman work when it is required to fulfill a project. I highly recommend Sheeja; she has an amazing eye for detail and helps organize your space in ways you didn't think were possible.

Delighted to write a note on wonderful project done by Raashi Design at our place. We moved in to a new place, we had to setup living and dining areas. Instead of shopping furnitures ourselves, we decided to have a designer do it. We wanted someone to come in, understand our interests, taste and the layout before proposing a solution. After talking with couple of designers, we decided to go with Raashi Design mainly because they came in with an open mind, listened to our desires, educated us on various design aspects, styles, etc. Sheeja is very knowledgeable, respectful of our views and committed to designing a layout that works for us. Sheeja is great to work with. She did a great job at understanding our interior design goals and the style we were going for. She is very good at communicating. She provides prompt responses and thorough information in a clear manner. Unfortunately due to personal reasons we had to put our projects on hold, but we plan to follow through with the design concepts Sheeja created for our living, dining and man cave rooms.

We wanted to have our master bedroom designed by Sheeja since we have worked with her before and had a very good experience. We discussed our must-haves with her and left the rest to her. She came up with an excellent design which we loved right away. The jewelery cabinet she designed turned out just perfect for my needs and iam so happy to be able to have my jewelery so easily accessible and organized -every woman's dream come true! The cabinet also has other functional storage and also aesthetic beauty with a painting and curios to complete the look. The TV cabinet also turned out just perfect for our needs with extra storage for paperwork as well as for handbags and other items which were cluttering our master walkin closet. Apart from the cabinetry Sheeja designed the bedroom with a very pretty shimmery wallpaper and a cozy reading corner as well as beautiful drapery, and the entire bedroom came together just perfectly. The paint color and crown molding adds a luxurious feel to the bedroom. Every piece of furniture that she recommended is exquisite and tasteful. The wall art and decor complete the whole look. The entire project took a couple of months. As with our previous times working with Sheeja, this project turned out to be as convenient and efficient as before and we are thrilled with the results! Looking forward to working again with her.

We engaged Raashi Design to design our : A) Dining room design including designing a Bar&Crockery unit as well as the window and sliding door coverings. B) Window coverings for our Living room which has 7 windows. The work done by Raashi design was truly exceptional ! We are so happy with the window coverings and the way it transformed our living room. My wife & I take every chance to spend our time in the living room and enjoy the overall look of the room. We were very impressed with the way that Sheeja from Raashi design worked with us that we extended the services at an additional cost to include the material procurement as well as contractor identification for the bar/crockery unit & window coverings. Raashi Design transformed my house to my dream house with minimum cost and best quality service. I had furnished rooms which I wanted to transform to a traditional style. The job was not easy since I wanted to reuse my existing furniture and other pieces in the room. I was more than impressed to see how this job was done and loved the new look of my room.
