I started in the appliance business through a friend of mine who hired me at Mongomery Wards and provided on the job training back in 2000. When Mongomery Wards folded, I started doing side jobs, and drove a school bus part time to make ends meet. While driving I saw this place that had already been established as an appliance repair shop, I leased it, and so within 2 years I was opening a second shop, and quit my driving job to handle my business. GNG now grosses about 90,000 a year, and is going strong.
