Sarah was fantastic at all phases of our new forever home project. She was terrific honing our jumbled vision into a coordinated plan to completely transform an entire house. Our permit drawings breezed right through. Sarah was great with all the finish selections and was available for literally every question and decision we needed from beginning to end. She's a very talented architect and we had a blast working with her. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

This is our second opportunity to work with Sarah Armstrong and Studio 360. Our first project was adding a screened porch and carport. Sarah was the architect brought on by the construction company. We were thrilled with the result of the project so when we decided to downsize, we immediately contacted Studio 360 to work with us. Sarah was extremely helpful as we worked out what our needs would be and what design options would work best. As we began to look at various properties, she was there to evaluate whether that property would work for us. When we found the house we thought would work, Sarah literally went over every inch making sure we had made the right choice. Then the fun began. Working with Sarah and Studio 360 was a joy as we sketched out various options, drank coffee and ate cookies. She helped us select an excellent construction company and was there with us every step of the construction process. The result is a marvelous new home with every design element we had hoped for yet done as economically as we could. We can not praise this Sarah and her firm enough. The person and the process was wonderful and we recommend her and her firm without reservation.

Sarah was amazing. I can’t say enough good about her. I was completely indecisive and anxious entering the renovation process. Sarah had great ideas and listened and responded to all of my concerns and ideas. She guided me through each step so I had a clear picture of our plan and I am so happy with our result. Plus, I really LIKED her. On top of being very talented she’s a great person. I couldn’t be more thankful for having her quarterback our enormous project.

We met Sarah through the sellers of the house we just bought. She did an outstanding job with the design idea, finding us an amazing contractor and very great with communication. We’d recommend her strongly and would use her again, if we have any new projects.

Sarah is phenomenal! I contacted her this spring when conducting research about our home renovations. She came out to my home, surveyed the work that needed to be done, and then provided me with a comprehensive plan and recommendations. She was instrumental in helping me know where to start, which renovations would provide me with the most return on my investment, and providing me with invaluable tips on how to interview potential contractors. Sarah was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thoughtful. Our budget was quite small, so she recommended that we pursue a different company to handle the work. To me, that makes her all the more ideal to work with since she is clearly willing to do what is best for her clients. If given the opportunity, I would work with Sarah in an instant.

Sarah's professionalism, attention to detail and design sensibility is beyond compare. We would hire her again in a heartbeat. She designed a mudroom addition, kitchen addition, new deck and screened porch for us. But not only did she imagine and execute the design - almost more importantly, she guided and advised us through the whole process. She helped us select a builder that was exactly the right fit for our project, and then helped us negotiate a very strong contract with them, protecting our interests through that document and through her ongoing personal involvement throughout the building process. At the same time, she was extremely professional and collaborative in working with our builder and decorator to help meld all three professionals' design ideas. She kept meticulous notes of our conversations, including with the builder and decorator about design and implementation choices and routinely checked in to make sure everything was attended to appropriately, including keeping within set timelines and budgets. We are beyond delighted with our decision to select Sarah and Studio360 as our architect and with the ultimate design of our home. We have already recommend Sarah to several friends looking to do similar projects.

Sarah is a joy to work with. Sarah can masterfully reimagine existing space plus integrate new additions to create useful and pleasing living spaces. In the final result, it is clear that an architect has aided the design of new space . . . . not because of bold architectural statements, but because of tasteful and caring design that both blends in and transforms a house all at the same time. Sarah Armstrong is the principal architect for this firm. She oversaw the design, detailed plans and construction quality control of our home remodeling in McLean, VA. The project was quite large, but within the current walls of the home. Included kitchen, Master bath remodeling, front door, entry hall, and library revamps, as well. -- Design: worked with clients on every aspect of the room dimensions, finish, electrical and mechanical fixtures. Brought in alternatives for consideration, bringing samples to us, rather than making us go to shops on many selections. -- Plans: were very detailed in every facet of CAD drawings of our home work. Included demolition plans, electrical and mechanical plans, and equipment lists. Contractor said it was the most complete and thorough set of plans they had seen. Made construction work much more efficient. -- Quality control: was hands-on in the interaction with contractor throughout the construction phase, as a consultant to both client and the contractor. In all interactions, Sarah was professional, focused, and very friendly. She gave good thought to all her recommendations, settled with us on the final selections, and made sure that the wishes went in as desired. She worked well with the contractor in problem resolution, often shielding us from any major conflicts, until a final decision was warranted. She was always accessible on line and, when warranted, in person. All work was top quality and timely, helping us keep to within a week of scheduled completion. Would definitely use Sarah's services again and strongly recommend her for others considering home remodeling. Wish we had her when we built our home 17 years ago..

I would highly recommend Sarah Armstrong. Building an addition (20x30) on the back of our house to accommodate my mother was very intimidating, but Sarah's excellent skills and creativity made this process painless. The scope included removal of a screened in porch, adding a large bedroom, walk in closest, large bathroom and deck. Sarah was extremely patient as we explored a number of options and figured out ways to make the addition work for everyone. She listened to our ideas and was patient helping us work through some compromises necessary to get realistic plans. Sarah made excellent suggestions and added touches we would never have thought to do. She is a real partner and worked with us through every stage of planning and design, and was extremely mindful of our budget. She was extremely helpful during the selection process of a General Contractor. Her drawings were 100% “spot on” as the G.C. was able to walk the drawings through Fairfax County one morning with NO problems at all. Sarah is an absolute pleasure to work with and I look forward to recommending her in the future to any of our friends and neighbors with any architectural design needs.

I hired Studio 360 LLC to do the complete renovation drawings and construction over site for my project. Kitchen tear down, wall and a two sided fireplace removal floor etc. I knew from the start of my project that I had made the right choice with using Sarah Armstrong owner of Studio 360 LLC. In my words I went from a one butt kitchen to the most space anyone would want to cook in. All the materials Sarah showed me were spot on, she listens. She kept the contractor straight and all the trades people as well. I feel now that my project is complete I have made another friend. Sarah Armstrong is truly very talented.
